How many 100 cap milestones have we lost?
Ardie’s 100th will be the next game. Bugger.

Bring in Schmitt after RC he is available then.
Read Foster's book and you'll begin to understand why Schmidt wanted nothing to do with the AB's after RWC2023
Old school?
NZR's relationship with the players was not good to put it mildly - money and marketing came before almost anything else.. And the treatment of the team management was simply appalling. Schmidt clearly had had enough.
Might to a mini book review and post it somewhere.

Razors ego wouldn't allow a Schmidt to come in.
Yes men only..
My uninformed opinionHeavy dose of the uninformed. I think you’ll find it the other way around…..

The way Schmidt has turned things around with the Wallabies the ego is understandable

My uninformed opinionMy semi-informed opinion was that Razor definitely wanted Schmidt, and the call came from Schmidt himself. He does enjoy the limelight, but Ray doesn’t have a particularly big ego.

So nothing to do with Razor himself, actually about the NZRFU.
Someone in NZRFU was briefing/leaking against Foster and his team (inc. Schmidt) right up until RWC2023. Book doesn't make any insinuations against Razor but it's pretty clear he would have been aware of what was going on.

Incredibly deflating performance -- I had glimmers of hope which are now firmly extinguished.
Major issues imo which we don't seem to changing
Scooter --- I have to say if he wasn't the Capt he wouldn't be starting ...
Savea largely invisible today and not sure he got a turnover
Parker was good but taken off early, and Wallace looked good too.
9 & 10 CLUNCKY AS FARK .. not rhythm or game sense, Roigard and Hotham being sorely missed....
Jordie - solid but creates very little Id rather see him at center playing like Stirling Mortlock style with Quinn Tupaea at 12
Proctor is ok ... but not filling me with confidence...
then the back 3...
Rieko its time to go
Sevu not effective enough under high ball either and frankly what do we lose by giving some others an opportunity?
We need Jordan on the wing as he is the only one any good under the bombs so who goes to FB, and who's the other wing...... do we put Quinn at 12 and Jordie at FB.... I am not sure - but surely we need to do something.Over all , and this is at the leadership group and coaching - its a shit show, 3 YCs ffs. Surely you direct your team to hold the fucking ball when they are kicking so poorly, or adjust the game plan at a minimum

Looking back at that period when Jordan and Vaa’i were in the bin, even though the Argies didn’t score a heap of points I thought they did a pretty good job of running us around and causing havoc.
I’ve said it a number of times particularly over the last few years, they are one of the more difficult sides to defend because they aren’t very disciplined in their attack.
They generally make a lot of errors though and turn the ball over, so when they limit that, they will always be in the game.

I thought we handled that well too. But our concentration went to poo after that. As for our tactics...

Jordin at 13 I do like but maybe not right now needs games there before test v boks or aussie
Our first choice fullback to centre. Like sands through the hour glass…..

I thought after last week that territory was the order of the day. Then again, it probably was, but when the Pumas put up the bombs the ABs couldn’t diffuse them and play for the territory.
The offensive and defensive kicking game was horrendous today. Not much a pack can do when people can’t catch the ball and pressure cannot be built.

I am not sure - but surely we need to do something. We have some decent players in most areas, but lock isn’t resolved, loosies aren’t settled, first-five still lack a world-class player who is actually a first-five, half-back is ok when Roigard is fit, outside backs aren’t quite right, though we do have the players.
Other than a couple of glaring positions, we have the cattle to be one of the top 3 teams, but I’m not seeing the balance, rhythm and consistency to give me confidence. SA falter occasionally, but they have such a wealth of playing depth. Aus even look like they’ve got good balance now.
A couple of glorious wins might change the picture, but on the flip side, I feel over the odds that we’re going to lose at Eden Park in the next month or so.
