Vaa'i back to lock and best player on field.

SA had most of the ball and did nothing with it. Really struggling with conditions. Replace halfback?

A lot of negativity in here.
If you asked me, 14-3 up at halftime, I'd take it

NZ playing the conditions. Some of his delivery been a bit shit, but reckon the ginger has done okay under a lot of pressure.

Problem is that he's the one creating the pressure half the time with his fuckaboutery.

For once I'm confident in our bench forwards. Not so much the backs

    SA had

Two dumb penalties but other than he’s been very active.

There seems to be up and down commentary on Scott Barrett. How is he looking overall against the contenders?

Great planned move for WJ’s try but that throw definitely drifted forward at the end

SA went up to contest so shouldn’t that have been called back and throw to SA?

Not a bad half. Nice to see a vocal crowd making it hostile and difficult for the visitors.

If we could catch all the balls they're kicking at us, we'd win comfortably.

Surprised, given the demographics of the Shore, that there's as much of a noise.

    For a number 4 or 5 HB , he’s doing ok

He's already on. I'd move him to 10, even if they don't want to take BB off. At least he might take it to the line

Who would you replace/move in the second half?

    Jason Holland.

He did everything asked of him. More than we can say about others in the backline

Great to be 14-3 ahead, even if some of the rugby was meh.

Today's all about protecting the fortress so if we avoid defeat I'll be delighted.

Anyway. Happy so far. Feel overall we're in front, beyond just the score board.

    40minutes lads.

Need some pill and play down their end.

@canefan need a impact back, only difference maker could be Tupaea into 12 and Jordie one out to 13, give him some more space.

He seems to be going for tap backs all the time instead of catches.
