Holmes is classy as fuck, so good to watch. Ref with some hilarious "even it up" calls, good to see them fail.

Ferns seemed to want to defend most of the second half, giving the ball back to the Irish at will.

Holmes nailing those two opposite sideline conversion back to back at the end was absolute top drawer rugby at any level.

    Chapeau.

Highly impressive from the Black Ferns after a sluggish opening 15 minutes.

    They mean business.

Their rivals for the RWC 2025 crown have been sent a warning.

They need to make their touch finders though, fix up some sloppy LO work (ie hit the jumper) and sharpen up the handling / execution skills for mine.

Homles is very good. She has a very long kick with both feet. I do not like Woodman on the wing, i think they should put an other player. Waakaa is so important in this backline and the two 12 are good.

The scrum was OK. Sometimes you lose scrums, sometimes you win. Good defence on the maul.

Miller was pretty quiet, but jeez when you see her get the ball and open up, you know 3 defenders at least are going to be left looking silly. Just call he emjay.

The ability of Waaka and Holmes to get passes away under pressure is so important to the backline. Great goal kicking from Holmes too. No way had she moved before the Irish were halfway to her for the "missed" conversion.

Demant's kicking from hand is really poor, and might prove costly in a playoff game. Discipline needs to be better too.

That was right in front of us and hilarious, even a couple of Irish fans around us were shrugging their shoulders it was so obvious. I'd have to watch the replay, but it looked like the ref wasn't even looking at Holmes.

On a side note, the white collar on the jersey is in perfect proportion. Unlike the men... 🙄

We have so many weapons all over the park. Our ability to attack is lethal, and Sorensen McGhee is a phenom in the best traditions of young NZ wingers. The forwards are fit and mobile, but very combative

    Just saw the charge down.

    Ref is an idiot.

And why are Ireland wearing purple? If they have to wear white, which ai don't reckon they do, surely with green trim?

Squidge videos can be hit or miss for me but there's one on his second channel breaking down Black Ferns / Ireland which is worth a watch. They definitely have an impressive knowledge of individual player's characteristics.
