They need to make their touch finders though, fix up some sloppy LO work (ie hit the jumper) and sharpen up the handling / execution skills for mine.

Homles is very good. She has a very long kick with both feet. I do not like Woodman on the wing, i think they should put an other player. Waakaa is so important in this backline and the two 12 are good.
The scrum was OK. Sometimes you lose scrums, sometimes you win. Good defence on the maul.

Just watched the mini match, some impressive ball skills by our girls.
Very fun to watch -
The ability of Waaka and Holmes to get passes away under pressure is so important to the backline. Great goal kicking from Holmes too. No way had she moved before the Irish were halfway to her for the "missed" conversion.
Demant's kicking from hand is really poor, and might prove costly in a playoff game. Discipline needs to be better too.

That was right in front of us and hilarious, even a couple of Irish fans around us were shrugging their shoulders it was so obvious. I'd have to watch the replay, but it looked like the ref wasn't even looking at Holmes.

Definitely looks like rotation. Risi has clearly been our best halfback since coming into the 15's from the 7's.
Last game against Ireland, she did look a bit gassed and her passing wasn't as good as it has been. A rest will probably do her good and this game should help choose who is her back up, Joseph or Hohaia.
Disappointed that Leti-I'inga isn't getting another start as she really sparked things when she replaced Portia against Ireland.

Very fun to watchIs it just me but is the actual spectator experience in the woman's game better than the men's at the moment? Lots of backline play, lots of great tries, far less box kicking and aerial ping pong. I for one have been loving the tournament so far and look forward to the finals.
