Another boy I know makes it from Fraser High, in the lowest First XV grade. Still Year 12 so could move. Also a Chiefs U16 player. He wasn't much smaller when playing with my son in Under 14's.

@mikedogz Full credit to the Thames Valley Rugby club for hosting the Northern Region 7s , had a wonderful day watching sevens and mixing and mingling with a few people i had’nt caught up with in a very long time
Congratulations to the Waikato mens team who had a few Fijians in their squad who were cutting also sorts of capers during the day ,their attack and defence was just too much for a very good Harbour team in the final
The Northland women who despite putting Taranaki away in their first game looked completely out of sorts in their 2nd game against Counties Manukau looking anything but a team that could go on to win the tournament ,but its fair to say in what turned out to be dramatic semi final taking down a very Waikato team with massive defensive effort
The semi final win gave them a ton of confidence going into the final against CM , The Taniwha girls putting in a massive defensive 2nd half effort keeping the CM scoreless in the 2nd half
A very young team with a couple match winners in Kerri Johnson these days playing in the NRLW for the Broncos and the goat Portia Woodman who had’nt picked up a rugby ball since the RWC although you would’nt have know it ,Woodmans strength is unbelieveable it almost did’nt seem fair , has’nt got the same pace she use to have but still good enoughWas great to see former Black Fern Shikira Baker running around for CM and a good catch up with Mia Anderson from Waikato

@Steven-Harris Anyone you think could be useful for the NZ sevens teams?
