Don't think it lacks authenticity . Kolisi & Savea have regularly posted about their close friendship with each other and their families for years. It's just who they both are.

NZ is a small country, and people talk, a lot. It is also a very mediocre country, mostly run by low potential people. Not quite a Kakistocracy, but getting there. Anyway, the rumours are flying, but some of them are good.
Scott Hansen is not rated by many of the players, and his communication is poor. The forgotten backs coach is fed up with Robertson, and has been shut out.
Perhaps of most interest for us posters is that the coaches regard DMac as an idiot who cannot follow instructions, and think that Bueaden Barrett's kicking game is excellent, and if you do not appreciate it, then you do not understand rugby.
Make of that what you will.

Being a guy that falls for the hype quite often, the fact that even I thought he came across as a cock is quite telling. -

The problem with the team is much like NZ itself, woke and insular with a distinct lack of brainpower and mongrel in the coaching group, players and even media. It's a giant PR exercise with everyone sucking each other off.

I'd obviously still prefer the ABs to win, but I won't be too bothered if we lose the Eden Park record or even the Bledisloe Cup. It will hasten the demise of those clearly not up to the job in terms of brains and ruthlessness.
Our Captain, First Five, Head Coach, his Assistants and our CEO all need to go and the sooner the better.
