Wobblies had a good half-hour, patchy the rest. If Ardie had decided to show up tonight we would have had a different night too.

Wallabies defence, carrying and breakdown work superior to ABs. ABs mainly won because of aerial dominance (unbelievable after the RC so far) in the first 20 mins and because Roigard had a very good game individually

This team is stronger than the AB side v SA.
Holland is a ball supply unit, Roigard's defensive kicking ability, PT in good form and Clarke's aerial skills.
Good to see Carter retained on the wing.

The Holland hype train has got to stop. He’s let in two tries in a row with lazy ruck defence

Jimmy how do you think Holland went today?

Thought DMac looked better than BB

    Overall, yes, draws better, faster.
But someone else noticed JB plays better without BB there, I agree, it is strange!

You've answered your own question. DMac gives his outsides more time and space who knew!

The display of our only 2 still-flying vintage planes at the beginning was a symbol of this game's significance, the end of the Barrett era.

Hey hey, I won't have you being sarcastic about our Tiger Moths!!😂 Mind you if we get results with them fluing over, who am I to laugh!

I think at this point we can conclusively say that Razor’s not the Messiah, he’s just a very naughty boy

Could have been very different if the Aussies didn't take so long to get into the game in the first half. They're a big chance next week.

Their slow starts have been a feature in a number of tests this year - at least one against the Lions, Boks and Pumas they have shipped points early and quickly.

So if BB is crocked, do they bring Jacomb in?

Not likely with this team, is it?

Oz with the slow starts…ABs (usually) with the poor finishes.

I am sure Razor will point out that the ABs had a decent last 20 mins today and also out scored their opponent in the 2nd half. Progress 😬

Have to be, on NPC form. Be good to see Love get an opportunity as that 10/15 on the bench.

I'd be surprised if they bought anyone in,and if they do, probably a winger like Ioane or Reece,to cover the backfield with Love being backup 10.

I thought Clarke played well, just did the basics, rather him at 11 than Ioane.

@nostrildamus well if he's crocked, they just run 1 0 then?

@African-Monkey that would be beyond retarded

Edit - forgot Love was a back up for 10...probably

No wonder you have insane people like Shiggins from GAGR when the Aussie comms are behaving with a victim complex like that

In my case, it's nothing to do with the comms.

Piardi was inconsistent with a few calls, and the Wallabies got the rough end of more than their share.

At the same time, we didn't do smart things in the red zone.

If it makes it any better , kiwis aren’t celebrating this either,

We are still underwhelmed by our team

Weird to win a game and I still wouldn't pick any of our loosies in a combined team for the match. Including the bench loosie. And their best loosie wasn't even playing.

I agree, but we haven't seen any evidence to suggest that they've been looking at another 10. I suppose the bought Plummer in last year so maybe.

He’s a winger, not a 13 that used to play wing. Ioane selection smacks of wanting to keep him in the side because he’s on a AB contract.

If a player isn’t good enough or has to find form, drop them and give them feedback. If they are hungry enough and good enough, they’ll be back.

All Blacks used to be about being at the pinnacle of talent and form.

My impression was the Wallabies were getting away with murder at the rucks. Unlucky that he decided the Wallabies scored from the maul which prevented the PT, but not much else.

At the same time, we didn't do smart things in the red zone.

That statement applies to both teams.
