fuckin Penrith are going to win the comp. They were insanely good yesterday, error-free first half that put the game to bed nice and early. This is the problem that teams like the Dogs and Wahs have, you can't play Panther-tribute footy and beat the masters at it. They just grind you to death and then capitalise when you get tired. They are so incredibly fit, and their outside backs are so fucking good at starting every set. But it's their defense, they win every contact, then push you back a metre or so every tackle, and you just give away more and more field position until you crack.
Brisbane can beat them because they don't play that way, they'll play fast and really attack the panthers edges, that game on Sunday will be a belter (how good is afternoon footy?).
The Sharks are a real chance in Melbourne. I am surprised and impressed with their standard in teh finals, they've been really good. They've finally tightened their defense, and their halves have finally settled in to different roles. Melbourne have been clunky for a while, and are down on troops, they have to be vulnerable.

Think Brisbane can only win if Arey lets Walsh have more touches of the ball that they have had since himself and Ezra got shot by the hammy sniper. No way they beat Penrith playing their previous way.
I hate the sharks probably back to the Gallen days but they are a shot for sure, AFB playing his best footy in this finals series since he left the wahs.

Well it felt like the Storm got the greater advantage, although Klein was poor for both, but for me the bigger story is how when it counts Hynes has another stinker.
