But it's always dangerous when an owner starts thinking he knows more about football than the football people trying to run his club
but, but Marinakis has nothing to do with the running of the club.
Just ask UEFA - and Palace

Fairly predictable weekend of results. Liverpool win yet again late in a game (and Burnley lose again with a penalty after 90 minutes). Amorim looks more like a dead man walking as City win 3-0. Arsenal dispose of Ange's Forest fairly easily and Bournemouth win again to cement their place in the top 4 @bayimports
started our 18 year old CB as well, he is a monster and did better than was expecting.
Interestingly the the latest fixtures between us and the seagulls has a 2-1 result, thankfully we were finally on the right side of one!

Not sure how Harry Kane scores 44 odd goals in the season for Bayern (98 in 103 games at this point) and finishes below Cole Palmer. Joke of an award
Well it is just the opinions of multiple people - Bundesliga standard is pretty low for defending these days and Bayern get a lot of penalties - Kane got 9 in the league last season. Maybe if Bayern had got further in the UCL. Same for Salah, needed Liverpool to knock out PSG as they had 5 of the top 10.

Potter was a massive meme on x there was a significant amount of roasting but yeah i think their problems run deeper

@KiwiPie said in EPL 2025/26:
Potter is goneburger at West Ham and Nuno in. Sounds like the problems at that club are deeper than just the manager and it will be interesting to see if Nuno can Nuno them
Nuno's quite pragmatic. He's obviously just not that exciting, because why else would be get chopped from NF?

Will Ange be replaced by Sean Dyche? What a laughing stock Forest are
It's all very strange - remove the manager who took you to 7th and replace him with the manager who finished 17th and then find yourself in 17th.

England are playing Latvia in Riga. If they win, they'll qualify for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
That's one of the least interesting groups - England could lose this game and still qualify. Much more in the balance for Germany, France and Italy (with Norway almost definitely topping the group ahead of Italy)
Sweden is bottom of their group - despite having 3 forwards who just cost EPL clubs 235 million quid a couple of months ago (Isak, Gyokeres, Elanga)

Kosovo might make the playoffs ahead of Sweden. And it's not a universally recognised independent nation.
The Farore Islands might make the play offs and they're not an independent nation as well.
And Scotland's not complete out of it either.
