That 1) doesn't gel with the ye test, and 2) can be explained by moving from a bench edge to a starting middle.
I guess we have different eyes, I saw the penalties and errors this year, and I'd prefer if someone moved to the middle that those type of errors would come down, especially when it comes to tackles where there's less movement than on the edge.
Ford is the same player he's always been, if this level of mediocrity is what we want at the Warriors then lets at least do it with NZ players. Jazz got crucified for his error rate in a position as a ball player where he had more opportunities to make them.

lol fuck Jazz? one of the worst full time Warriors i have ever seen.
-
Suck it Dragons

best news all day clearly not just about money

Dont agree with it either, not even close to similar dual positions. Ford much more effective middle forward if that was where you were going than Jazz was including been able to handle a sixty minute stint rather than just a 40 min huff and puff.
-
I'm talking about the similarity of Jazz being an error machine, if you guys want to defend Ford's faults based on their different positions go for your life. Ford will still be the same penalty magnet, will still make errors, and will still miss tackles next year, at least Jazz is stinking up other teams instead of us.
-
@Nepia lol you made me laugh at least but agree happy that jazz has moved on. I still think Ford is effective in his role. He can certainly make mistakes but as we bring more juniors through he will certainly help them with communication in the defensive line and line speed so think he has a role to play. Probably had to overplay him due to injuries but still Webby wanting the experience on the field thought he did ok especially where we finished on the ladder. The younger ones will only improve on last years experience so perhaps that limits his role. As does Mitchell Barnett being fit. Anyway just dont see him as the weakest link.
Im still looking at our centres

Gave away the same amount of penalties as the lauded (and very fucking good) Joey Tapine. Less errors than crowd favourite Leka Halasima. Missed two more tackles than our best player all year Erin Clark (and that missed tackle average is 88th in the league).
Stats can tell you anything if you want to look at them funny.

Noodles (Jessie Ramien) on the market due to salary cap issues at the sharks.. pretty good target for those with money

If Tapine ever plays for the Warriors then maybe I'll start following his stats. And if Ford wins us game on his pure dynamism like Leka then I'll eat Kirwans hat.
Anyway, the point is the narrative this year has been that he's been so much better than last year, all that the stats do is show that the areas he's problematic in were still problematic this year even when he's supposed to be much better.

I watched that first Ashes test.
Australia were a couple of dropped passes from a pretty big score. The ruck speed was ridiculously slow and I thank God for V'Landysball.
Reece Walsh continues a frankly ridiculous run of form
-
Am I going senile, or was this series originally billed as Australia v Great Britain? I recall thinking during the last couple of weeks it's been a while since we last saw Great Britain, so I must have gotten the idea from somewhere.
-
Traditionally it was.
But I assume with the world.cup trying to be bigger they have broken GB up in to the member countries

Yeah it was, and it's been England for a while now. That's why I was surprised when I got it in my mind they were playing Great Briain again, not England.

And the idiots on Channel 9 like Joey Johns, Cam Smith, Billy Slater etc want the NRL to get rid of the 6 again lol.
