Hmmm, that’s a really uninspiring choice.
He’s been there before and wasn’t up to it.

@Gunner Given the way the games are spaced out, I wonder if they feel they can just use the four they used on Sunday for all three games. Also have to remember, that there are about six injured... only other one really is Fisher, who didn't play for ND so is presumably also injured.

I would have picked Lister at least he adds some variation

Got England 81-5 despite missing Henry today in the 2nd ODI. The question again becomes, can we get Brook out? Santner has already dropped him (a pretty tough chance but he'd back himself to take those)

Santner gets his man and we have them 156/7 now, very good performance so far

There is no doubt we remain very good at ODI cricket.

Rolled them for 175 and Tickner gets 4 to shut the haters up 😉

That's just enough runs for the Black Caps to have a spectacular collapse and lose

This is great bowling, but I am not sure these two are doing enough to put some pressure back on them.

Ha, he must have read the fern and thought I’m gonna give that prick the middle finger.

Nice return for Tickner with a 4fer, well done.

Some good bowling and some not so smart batting is swinging the game back

Another big win. BCs win by 5 wickets with 101 balls to spare.

England are in a very sorry state heading to the Ashes.

In three weeks time, they will be batting at Optus Stadium in front of 60,000 Aussies screaming for their blood. They need to sort their shit out and fast.

They won’t be alone in the shit batting stakes tho, OZ are just as shit and relying heavily on 1 or 2 players to carry the team
The English have some good fortune in that Pat Cummins is out injured from the 1st test

    Hometown boys to the rescue.

I was surprised to read how good NZ's ODI record is at Seddon Park (P33 W26) and a 10-game winning streak before this match.

Are you suggesting crickets future Eden Park? 🙂

Sounds like this Ashes may be a relative cripple fight
