Is the fact Parker has been dropped right out of the 23 a sign that that particular experiment is over?

@Canes4life that guy sounds about as Scottish as mn5.

I went to the pub in Auckland a couple of weeks back and didn’t shout a round so I don’t think anyone can question my heritage

I'd be very surprised if so.

As always, I'd have had DMac at 10 ahead of Beauden Barrett and Ruben Love at fullback with Will Jordan in his natural position of Right Wing.

Nods all round to the front five, the starting midfield and Cam Roigard at Half Back.

Not so happy about the midget backrow quartet. This is a Rugby Test Match, not a Hobbit convention. It makes the exclusion of Dalton Papalii and Hoskins Sotutu even worse if Luke Jacobson and Samipeni Finau are in the squad as foodbills.

I'd have had Reiko Ioane on the bench ahead of Billy Proctor.

Hopefully we'll be far too good for Scotland anyway.

My reading is that he's being rested up for England after taking a knock against Ireland.

Can't figure out why people would happily dump Carter, who's taken to test rugby like a duck to water and is a shining light of this year so far.

@Bones I like Leroy Carter, he's a bloody good winger, but does he have top-end speed?

@ACT-Crusader Not sure we they have left out VDM, but that's an impressive backline. Hopefully the ABs will make life difficult indeed for those Scottish forwards.

VDM started last week against the US, probably just some rotation.

Fagerson, Brown and Dempsey is not a big loose forward trio by any stretch. And they have Darge on the bench who wouldn’t be much bigger than most halfbacks.

We will see a lot of attack on the ball by these loosies, so hopefully our boys will be up for it.

    reserve midfielder.

    You would prefer ALB?

    I’d prefer Rieko

Completely forgot about him! Would be really interesting to see how he goes as an impact player.

The glimpses i had of him in Perth suggested the pace was back. Covers wing and midfield (played a super season at 12).

Edit: the option we've chosen is an underperformed single position player.

Proctor has played plenty in the outsides at SR, as has LF.

Pretty sure he was a full back before going into midfield.
I'd like to see him get another shot. Could be his last one for awhile if he doesn't fire a shot.
He is probably only midfield cover since LF is in the 15. I imagine Jordan will go to the wing when Dmac comes on.

@Darren yep, seem to recall he started his career in the back 3. On a 5 year contract...

so the scots loose forward arnt big so we have picked our smallest quartet to match them. instead of going big to physically extend them. shows you everything about this coaches mindset

Why? So Papalii and Sotutu can be foodbills instead?
