@No-Quarter If Huw Jones were playing I'll definitely want Rieko there.

The All Blacks are going to be wearing white jerseys.
I hate how rugby has changed our traditions because soccer.
Away team always wore their traditional colours and home team swapped.
Am still hot on this, but heard TJ say it had something to do with Armistice Day as well, with ABBAWs (All Blacks but also whites) wearing a red poppy on their sleeve.
What sort of blind feckers can't tell the difference between blue and black anyway?
We didn't used to have thse alternate strips in the days of black and white TV so I don't see why they're required now.
I'd much rather they banned white boots if they're playing with a white ball.

Is interesting seeing the praise for Barret from various places in media (re his play and control)

Scotland and All Blacks have always traditionally played in a white change strip when hosting the other to distinguish between the Black and Navy Blue.
Remember the water polo test in 74?
At least it's not grey.

@booboo I can vaguely recall the test, but I couldn't tell you what jerseys we played in.
I assumed it was the same as France - they used to wear Blue - we wore Black - but, apparently that's either no longer or rarely acceptable.
That photo you posted emphasizes the absolute stupidity - there would be far less clash if we'd just worn black.

France pretty much change from sky blue to Navy to make us change jerseys. Dicks.
-
Or if Scotland had remained with their traditional jersey. The Scots do some weird ahit with their jerseys.

I would describe it as baffling rather than interesting.

Clever Frenchies, they've been stealing our aura thread by thread!

75 water polo test
we were in white
the french blue is much darker now than it used to beThey seem to change it up. For a while when Nike was the shirt supplier they went to all navy, then more recently they went back to the more OG lighter blue. They shouldn't much around with it, the OG one is classic for a reason

I went to the Scotland-Canterbury match in 1981. My overarching memory when the Scots ran onto the field was how white/pink their legs were compared to even a pretty pale NZer. They could have pretty much played in red and black jerseys that day and you would have been able to ref them effectively on that basis!

I really dislike it when the All Blacks play in any colour other than black and in fact we should just refuse. The Scots and the French can wear whatever the fuck they like - as long as it's not a kilt. That I don't need to see.
Why don't they wear a tartan jersey?

Here's the water polo test - at Eden Park!
Remember when that fecker @Tim had a go at me because Trafalgar Park was a little bit damp underfoot for an Auckland - Ta$man NPC game (which we won comfortably)?

And he hasn't provided an iota of advice on how to fix my video recorder! I won't be able to tape this game and may have to get up at 3am or whatever ungodly hour and listen to it on my wireless.

@Grooter My boy Will to score twice, NZ lead and win - by 13+ @ $14.42
Will is well overdue.
I've spent the money already - on a slightly damaged Lamborghini.

The white jersey half way house thing irritates me. I’d like to see an alternate strip that is a complete inverse to the black strip, with white jersey, shorts and socks.
Granted this would look a bit like England, but it’s worn so infrequently. The current alternate strip looks like Fiji anyway …

Anything's better than grey though
