Dmac comes on strong, 2nd row and backrow dominant though perhaps had quieter periods in second half. Happy with front row . I though with the exception of Dmac there was know one you could count on in the backs, hopeless under the high ball, I see no point in having Jordan at fullback, can’t catch , terrible decision making , no kicking. BB will not get us to World Cup.

The fourth test in a row against Scotland where squeaky bum was the order of the day.

Very disappointing that YC offences put a lot of pressure on our defence, which meant we couldn’t get ball or win any territory.

But at the end of the day, this win is good for the mentality of the team. Winning is winning.

Well they won with three yellow cards and only conceded 17 points against one of the better attacking back lines in the world. So that’s a positive.

Negatives is they can’t catch a fucking highball

They played like shit but a found a way thru by individual brilliance. We've seen it in the past with McCaw's team

@MiketheSnow Ricky Swannell and Ruby Tui are good. The others mostly aren't.

A really good watch but Scotland should have been smashed

Sititi's card was obviously not ideal if he hadn't knocked that ball forward, it could well have been a try for Scotland down the other end. Still not ideal, but there was at least some benefit out of it.

    Carter's, on the other hand...

Beauden Barrett has been poor. Again.

What do they see in him still?

    Get ruthless with players.

I don’t think there’s an expected smashing for and top 10 team these days. It was at home, it was a big match, away. That’s not how it works anymore

I miss the heyday of the Henry-Hansen eras when we had the foot on the throat and never took it off. Those days are long gone. Still, some exciting players coming through…

Cards have killed us for years.

True but its not reffed consistently.

Canan Moodie did the exact same thing as Sititi in the SA v ARG game that decided the Rugby Championship.

He was already on a yellow, but ref let him off.

    These things matter.

    It's a joke.

Because, if you watch any of those games, we saw the best rugby players ever. McCaw Read and Kanio would demolish any of the current teams

At 17-0 up I wasnt confident...I couldnt believe the chat of winning by 40 on here.

We go life and death with everyone.

When somebody shows you who they are- believe them.

And this team has repeatedly shown us who they are.

Just woke up for a piss. Sounds like another typical gutsy Scotland loss.

    I’m going back to bed.

    Hell of a game.

Only seen the last few comments of the thread, and looks like I’m mostly going to disagree with what people are saying.

We’re starting to get some fluency in our attack, moving the ball around, finding space.

Making turnovers or getting penalties when you’re hard on defence is like gold, but we were pretty quick to stuff it up most of the time. Can’t afford to be doing that, and made this game soooo much harder on ourselves than it needed to be.

    Overall pretty happy.
