@Dan54 we'll get on the "anyone that shows promise at centre" express. Agree it's early days, but both Quinn and Leicester have shown by far the most ball in hand so should be persevered with on that basis. The real test will be on defense though, we know Rieko is one of the best defensive centres we've had and if those guys make poor reads that cost us in tight matches, that will count against them in a big way.

It’s great to have some explosive physicality on attack which has been sorely lacking from the midfield.

Maybe Jordies best option is 15 now, early days it may be but if those two fire on this tour it may be hard for him to get back in.

Two names to be targeted for signing in 2027: Tony Brown and Felix Jones.

He needs to be on the field. A Cam-DMac-CC-QT-LF-WJ-JB backline would be of interest to see

Especially if WJ is short for Leroy Carter.

@Tim I'm coming round to the view that getting the Assistant Coaches right at international level is just as important as getting the right Head Coach.

He needs to go off and have a serious think about his footwork

Hopefully he doesn't have to think until the next time Will Jordan delivers the ball to someone in space.

Fucks sake. I suppose ALL three of the cards were Jordans fault ?!?!

Pick the outstanding Dalton Papalii ahead of the absurdly over-puffed Ardie Savea at 7 and I'm happy with the forwards. Fabian Holland in particular is some find. We are tracking well toward the 2027 RWC with the pack.

But the backline is a bit of a disaster. I like Roigard at 9 and Hotham, Fakatava and Pledger all look like good bench options if they stay fit and they are given more experience. We are learning nothing by picking a well past his best Beauden Barrett at 10. Surely there are better options at First Five? DMac is excellent on the bench but should be starting. God knows why Ruben Love is left out in the cold? I'd swap Leicester F and Quinn Tupaea around. LF at 12 and QT at 13. ALB has been terrible this season. Billy Proctor is a back-up player at best. Brendon Ennor is worth another look. Reiko Ioane looks out in the cold. Hopefully he'll recapture form at Leinster. Caleb Clarke is good but injury prone. Leroy Carter is okay, but Caleb Tangitau may be the better Test player. Will Jordan still isn't a top Test fullback. Right Wing is his natural position at Test level. NZR need to employ a specialist coach from AFL to help our players with dealing with the high ball.

It's the lack of ambition that fucks me off. We will never be a good team with BB at 10, and hes getting worse. Meanwhile, the Boks have SFM at age 23 in the key position.

@MN5 He did really well yesterday for the All Blacks XV against England A. He's a better player now than ALB.

    Damning with extremely faint praise.

Not that bare. Jordie, QT, LF, Proctor, Ioane and that’s before we even get to ALB who will probably continue to get picked.

Dammit, you spoiled the opportunity to say he was invisible against England.
