There's that saying "Lies, Damn Lies and Statistics".

Aura spawned herself in the 70% amateur era.

2025 is currently running at 82%.

    We're 100% in our last 4 games ...

    Aura AND Mystique hanging together.

She (via Rebecca Romijn) was my favourite X-men character.

It turns out Aura is also the name of a superhero alter-ego (Vasilis Pozio), albeit one with some mental illness issues.

There's something aligning here that I can't quite put my finger on.

Not that she helped,,,...at one stage, we had a 25% win ratio over 4 (I think) seasons and were regularly beaten by provincial sides. We even lost at Eden Park to England.

Well, I just found out today we lost our aura in 1992 when league took over:

Rugby League: League breaks union's power

In the last few years the perception of the game has changed radically in New Zealand, just as the All Blacks' aura of invincibility has dissipated.*

Once we lost the aura, how come we keep losing it? Seem to lose it regularly, so, does it sneak back when no one is looking/playing?

Interesting, I wonder if we can find an example of us losing aura before the 1992 link I posted above?

AI suggests we lost the intimidation factor in 1905 and 1971.
