@Cyclops Duffy throws one up and gets hit for four, but that's OK.

Throw one a little bit wider and see if he'll go again. Then closer to stumps.

Little Kane - with 30 wickets, has the most of the players available to bowl in this innings.

Despite their fabulous averages - Duffy and Foulkes are lacking the desired impact so far.

Going to be a long day, I feel.

Kane and Conway might both have to bowl.

Fantastic catch from Latham. Short ball pays off in the end. What do I know?

Was it what ? He looked like a full time keeper there. That catch was very droppable.

Hope gone for a bloody good 140, game over now.

Phew - Tommy a bit lucky that wedged in the webbing, but he nursed it safely to the ground!

That probably takes a Windies win out of the equation.

Latham is gonna have to manage these two bowlers well. A wicket now brings the tail enders in but he doesn't want to overbowl them and reduce their impact.

Yeah I think a Windies win is off the table now. I think a draw is still possible, but these to need to bat for a session or so. But Hope looked like the only guy capable of scoring fast enough to get thew across the line.

@Cyclops They'd also have to wait longer to launch an assault.

Imlach and Roach were very defensive in the first innings as well. Might be hard to dislodge, but hopefully unlikely to be the guys to smash them to victory.

    Well done Foulkes!

Four to get and 68 overs to get them. Surely it's just a matter of time?

I think we can breath out now.

Would be good to see Greaves get a ton and they've already done better than I thought they would ( Black Caps injuries have definitely helped ) but time to wrap things up.

If there is one blight on Latham this test it's him saying variations of "bowling Beastie" every fucken ball !

Also 'Love that Chinny'. I assume he's saying similar things to the quicks but we can't hear because he's further from the stump mic.

Don’t like this short leg side bowling plan that we are persisting with. Not troubling them at all, they’re just letting to many go.

I feel like we need to mix things up here. We're in a bit of a holding pattern that's all a bit samey. I think it's time for a part timer to bowl a few overs and see what happens.

Ravindra bowling to a spread field is not what I had in mind as a way to mix things up.

Hmm, Roach has the third most test runs without a test 50. Pretty close to get his first one now.

Actually, he's second most - Lyon well out in front on about 1600, Roach 1300 odd and Major Younis third with just over 1000.
