That was a great delivery to get rid of Latham.

Yeah, Roach is a trooper. The Cricket fan in me hopes he gets 300 wickets, just not this series !

Shields is doing his best Coldplay impersonation out there with the bat.

Coldplay could probably jump on the East by west to throw down some overs when we need him.

Bit further for him to go now. He's stepped 'up' to being the owner-operator of New World Taumarunui. I assume he's moved there too.

    Ah fuck !

KW doesn't get out for 37......this isn't to script.

Hell of a delivery from Philip, clean bowled just before lunch.

Williamson bowled by another pearler of a delivery.

    Bugger, just before lunch too.

    103/2

Given that we made virtually identical posts I'm sure you'll agree that there is no Bazball type irresponsible shit happening here. Both balls to dismiss Latham and KW have been absolute beauties.

Almost identical first sessions on day 1 and 2. About 100 runs, 2 wickets, bowlers spraying it but also looking dangerous when they get it right.

Ravindra gone first ball after lunch. Probably didn't need to have a hoon at that. Caught behind off Roach.

As someone on here said he can be vulnerable early on as this has shown.

    117/3. Mitch Jr in.

Talk of Phillips batting six but Hay has come in on debut there instead.

Excellent first class figures. Certainly doesn't look out of place there.

Fuck again after all the hard work, a wicket 10 minutes before the break.

A big first innings lead is not looking likely particularly with Tickner unable to bat.

50 on debut brought up with a lovely boundary from Hay.

Just the 4th keeper batsman to do this on debut for NZ. Well played son. Much needed.

McCullum, Ronchi and Blundell the first three to do so.

Phillips very nearly slumped as he ambled back into the crease. Almost a really sloppy dismissal. Hopefully that wakes him up.

200/5. Hay looking assured, wouldn't think he was on debut, Phillips needs to contribute, not a hell of a lot of batting after Foulkes.

Yep, Latham and KW aside there has been some dumb dismissals.

Needed something big from someone to get a bigger lead. Hasn't happened. Windies could be batting pretty soon.

As Sumo is saying in commentary right now its rough that Foulkes and Duffy have to bat right now given the workload they've had and will continue to have.

Hit the ball along the ground, Glen - very irresponsible.

Rachin's shot was reckless as well - Harry Brook-esque.

I hope Tickner has the pads on and will come out one-handed!

Hay went to the well once too often too.

Yeah he has, Shields' arrival must must have dropped his celebrity status too far for his liking I guess.
