Going to a baseball game in the states blew me away.
What do you mean i can get full strength beer? What do you mean its in a can. What do you mean it's 500ml. What do you mean i don't even have to leave my seat!!!This wasn't long after going to the cr8cket at tue gabba where they started limiting the amount of midstrength tou could buy in the 2nd session. Made you take your sunniest off to order. And put security on the bin so no one could start a cup snake.
Yeah - it's great... your namesake's stadium - plenty of craft beer available, amazon automated shopping in little mini-marts (no tills/etc - videos capture what you pick up, automatically charge it to your card - sorcery).
But yes - beers to one's seat - even better.EXCEPT... being cut off at the 7th innnings. For a game which can often continue for many more innings than the standard. I'd have been getting pretty fucking antsy by the end of that 15 innings playoff game a couple of months ago.
I understand why they do it, but... -

@Victor-Meldrew think i mentioned elsewhere on here, heard Enoka speak at a conference (wasnt even there as the "main" speaker we had to listen to, but was by far the more memorable) he was awesome to listen to, I'll be reading his book too.
One fella i was sitting with said it was his 3rd time hearing him, said he told so many different stories and kept everyone engaged.
Haven't clicked on that link, but I recall him saying Mealamu was a player who carried more mana than anyone.
The sort of person who could politely instruct other All Blacks to come suitably attired to breakfast and as grown adults they'd acquiesce.

Who's filling that role now?
Read somewhere he's an accomplished artist as well.

Ardie is probably pretty adept at bulk messages on insta. I reckon its him.

Just throwing out a wild theory, but wonder if Scooter would have been doing that role if he wasn't made captain.

Mixed with how the lord saviour Richie Jesus Christ Mo'unga is the answer to all our prayers.

@African-Monkey Robert Van Rooyen circle jerk for ya. The fact he mentions Scott Barrett isn't a huge issue says it all.

Robert Van Rooyen circle jerk for ya
Crusaders circle jerk with Knowler there alongside him although Knowler was playing the (only) slightly more balanced role in the exchange.
Takeaways:
- Mo'unga was finally coming right after 50 tests when he took the Yen and ran.
- Everything was BB's fault.
- The assistant coaches are all good because they once made the Crusaders backline "hiss".
- Barrett is fine despite the fact he needs to play better and tidy up his discipline which has been shit all career.
- Razor doesn't have the cattle but also the team makes too many unforced errors and they'd threaten the Boks without those (so wait we do have the cattle?)
- The most important thing it the ABs are peaking in 2027 (fuck off, we're not a RWC only team).

Yeah good summary especially the last point. I don't want us to become a RWC only team. If we won the last WC, would the perception towards Foster have been any different from the public? Probably not and rightly so, and it should be no different for Razor.
They're also a funny mob down south. They're more invested in the Crusaders and sure, they'll get behind the ABs as a secondary option but only if it's run by Cantabs.

They've done that with the ABs backline too in that they hiss while they're deflating.

You'd think these 2 fanboy 'journos' would have gotten the message that Super Rugby and Test Rigby are worlds apart by now.

Regular Show is wonderful, used to enjoy watching it with my boys.
But to address your point, Ardie Savea made quite a number of World Teams of the year so that should tell you all you need to know.

Hmm, quite an annoying article. Just seems to be a PR piece telling us to be very patient because the plan is for Richie Mounga to lead us to World cup victory. So don't judge too much before then.
I don't think these were the big questions one expects from the headline....
