That seems hard to believe - especially when you consider there are some very senior players from the Crusaders in the team such as the current captain and Codie Taylor

    I’ll say this:

Tony Brown and Jamie Joseph definitely had coffee in public. That’s a concious decision that they wanted to be seen together - or else they’d have just gone to one another’s properties.

The next working day they then brief the EXACT SAME THING.

These guys aren’t stupid… Brown says he doesn’t have a get out clause, but that also doesn’t mean he can’t get out.

This is all part of the games and negotiation. Joseph is clearly the preferred candidate, and he will play hardball - as he should.

    All that spot on.
As the field is quite limited (only enzeders) they dont need to be chattering, they all know each other.
    Cat and mouse stuff.
If a current contract has to be broken, a very delicate business, might take some time.
And if its an SA one, that'll be business done way above Rassie.
Already adding some extra intrigue to the upcoming series.
    @george33 needs to be out! . . . sniffin around . . . tail wagin.

Brown hasn't been avoiding the media while back home. He was interviewed by TVNZ while at that golf tournament, and today we have the Paul Cully article.

Everything these guys do is calculated. I get the inkling that NZR knew what the outcome of the review would be… they will have their candidate lined up.

Everyone new it was guna be a shit review; the question was how shit.
It was very shit, and gave NZR the opportunity to pull the trigger.
    And they did!

Am hearing from good sources those players were asked.
I can not see NZR not asking them it would set up a lot of problems going forward in a lot of areas.

Crusaders methods can't be that different that pretty much all of the non-Saders players find them objectionable?

Of course not players come into that environment all the time short term and long term they always say they loved it there.
They wouldn't keep or attract players if it was.

So Razor managed to create an us vs them mentality within the camp. From a so called players coach I'm flabbergasted

It seems that way which doesn't really add up why that changed.
