- Robertson was so weak and ineffectual a Head Coach he allowed himself to be controlled by Ardie
- Ardie's an absolute Machiavellian genius who can manipulate 20 senior AB's and Support Staff (some chosen by Robertson himself) to come out against Robertson
- Ardie was able to control his team mates in such as way to bamboozled top-drawer people like Kirk, Kevvy and David Tricker when they interviewed them
- Your source is talking BS.
Personally, I'd go for option 4 on this ocassion.

Definitely option 4. This smacks of a desperate play to make Ardie out as this dishonest, unfaithful guy and Razor as the totally moral and upstanding family man who tried to coax Ardie onto the path of fidelity only to lose his job for his efforts.

This latest rumour is a bit hard to believe but if Savea is trying to poison other players against the (former) coach, whatever the background to that is, that should be the end of him as an All Black.

Did you watch news last night? Tamaiti Williams said he wouldn't say he was surprised but it was tough gig, and they ben assured there was no bias or anything in the decision. Also said he just wanted Ryan to hold his job. Reece said he was surprised , but kind of that's life and Razor would be disappointed.

They’d be better off just saying they don’t know the whole story and don’t feel comfortable commenting and just want to play rugby, hopefully with better results than recently.

It's hardly news that a number of All Blacks over the years have enjoyed having a few roots away from home on a tour.
And I've met pious, religious types who turn out to be into crazy stuff nocturnally.
The bit about a player being a Machiavellian genius and manipulating twenty other people against the coach is the part I find significantly harder to believe.

What's toeing the line, I merely commented on what a player said publicly. I actully interested in what players and coaches say, and I actually thought a ,I was a bit disappointed etc if he was would of been ok. He made no bones (no pun intended) saying he hoped that Ryan kept his gig.

Whereas he comes into the ABs. He has no test experience. He has a number of players with a lot of test experience. Whilst Razor was an AB he played during frankly an awful era of modern AB rugby ("hey guys I was in the ABs during the era we lost the Bledisloe then couldn't get it back"). He is also following a head coach who was seemingly very well loved by his players (in Fozzie) and quite an awkward way Razor got the job (start of the world cup year, he basically had a weak NZR over a barrell). Throw in that i'm sure there was some resentment from non Crusader ABs over his success and cult like status (breakdancing etc).
In hindsight if I was Razor I would have spent the 6 months post RWC 2023 doing everything I could to try and break down barriers and misconceptions about being the Crusaders coach as opposed to being coach of the whole country
However, I think even attempts to do this would have been very challenging as frankly he comes across as an awkward communicator (at best). I struggle to think of a long time successful coach who came across worse in press conferences than Razor. I understand press conferences aren't the be all and end all and are different to coaching but he REALLY struggled to articulate himself. I found him an absolute punishing listen to be honest and it was painful to watch after a while. I am usually really interested to hear from the horses mouth what AB coaches but not Razor. Listening to him made me lose confidence if i'm honest .
Of course the above is an over simplification but based on all of the above it's not surprising if the team developed factions and struggled to "buy-in" to the Razor regime.
Left field thought after reading this post: if we wanted someone in the camp who has been exceptional in recent memory, a heap of mana, high standards to set an example for others, no nonsense to keep people in line... I wonder how much coaching Ma'a has been getting done between his playing appearances?

Razor might be the wrong coach and ardie might be a dick ,
Both can be true , doesn’t have to be one or the other .
