The Steelers hire another Mike as HC
https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/mike-mccarthy-hired-pittsburgh-steelers-coach-mike-tomlin/
His WL record is healthy, mainly based on his time in Green Bay. And I take his poor record with Dallas with a grain of salt because Jerry's team has been a dumpster fire for some time. But it's not a sexy hire

As expected defence right on top here.
-
Conditions are hilarious.
-
Just a bludger of a game. Neither team generated any offence even before the blizzard.
Not sure either NFC teams are overly worried.
-
I fucking hate the patriots. Fuck off. I hope you get smoked in 2 weeks. fluffybunnies.
-
Why are they talking to Maye he did fuck all. Talk to the fucking defence
-
@mariner4life it could be worse. You could be a 49ers fan watching your two division rivals fight to reach the Super Bowl being played in your own stadium

-
Yeah that's definitely shitty
Seattle look fucking good here
-
I can't be in Seattle unfortunately, but Roto-vegas, at a bar serving craft-beer from Hamilton - with the game on big-screen. Pretty close.
Hoping all the fucking atrocious shit fluffybunny luck/outcomes I've had over the last couple of days were just setting up for one good thing. Would a Seahawks win balance out a fucked motorcycle?
Go 'hawks! -
Fuck yeah 'Hawks!
I'm fucking gutted I'll still be in NZ for Superbowl.
(Need to forget possibility of spreading grandmother's ashes on Saturday, flying immediately afterwards, and get to SanFran in time for game)@JayCee will be having a good day. If you happen to head to any of the breweries in Ballard, ask them to give you a drink on Kruse's tab. There's a stupidly good chance they will.

Maybe Bills fans even more gutted . . . had a good team for a few years and never made an SB . . . divisional rivals turn it around in a season . . . and almost stroll it in!
You san see why owners sack their HCs all the time, the turn around can be almost instant.

On paper, the Seahawks should demolish this Pats team. But it's the superbowl, everyone is tense and so I suspect it will be a close one.
With the pats having had probably the easiest run to the superbowl I've ever seen it's tempting to say that the Seahawks will flatten them. But superbowl winners almost always have to have some luck along the way, so maybe that's a sign in the pats favour.
If the Seahawks can get up early (especially if it's easy points off a fumble or int, getting into Mayo's head) then I think they'll disappear into the sunset and blow the Pats off the park. If the pats can keep it tight then there crazy season will produce a miracle for them - either a circus catch on a 50/50 ball, or some ridiculous Seahawks blunder.

@Cyclops
Yeah, close or a Hawks blow out, probably about 50/50.
Not guna be a Pats blow out.F'n hell, Vrabel isn't even meant to be the Pats coach.
He's meant to be coaching the Titans!
Some silly moo didn't like him, and flicked him . . . very, very silly.
