@mariner4life said in NBA 25/26:
Trae young Traded to Washington for fucking nothing.
oof
People (e.g., Marks) were saying that Atlanta might have needed to sweeten it with a pick or swap!
Washington have scored here IMO, they'll have a guy who can share it around to their young players and will get fans in, and they have to use the money given the minimum spend for the cap.
If Washington now gets a high draft pick, it could finally help turn them around...

CJ will be thrilled about excaping WSH, although I'm not sure ATL is that much of an upgrade

Trae is absolutely shit. A 6’2 nothing on D that shoots 40%!from the field and a pathetic 30%!for 3 this year
Great trade for Atlanta

That's fair, and he is shit on D.
But he's a career 25 point 10 dime point guard who might actually fit with the Wizards. He'll get his and should be able to share it around wit the young core they have there.
I reckon this is one of those trades where both sides get better.

Streetclothes supposedly out for surgery now, and likely to be traded for pennies on the dollar. Fuck the Mavs.
In other news, it looks like Ja will get the Trae Young treatment and be traded away to whoever might give up any expiring contract to get him. The Bucks might be interested which could be an improvement on fucking Kuzma, but Ja is such a jumped up little fluffybunny I don’t think I’d want him on my team (apparently he’s from a middle class home, just likes acting like a gangsta, silly stupid piston wristed gibbon).

ok we need a suicide watch on @gt12 as his AD trade prediction comes true. Does Washington think its 2020?
Couple of weird moves over night

Fuccccckkkkk. 1 year and 2 days ago I was feeling like we were a piece away from a Champsionship contender. Now, it's rebuild time. Fucking Mavs.
At least the bandage has been well and truly ripped off I guess.
You look back a few years to when we had Brunson and think about what has been lost, what has been spent, and what has been returned, and holy shit it is a picture of an incompetent set of fluffybunnies.
Now to tank as hard as a muthafucker and hope that lightening strikes.

The Mavs had the least chance in last years lottery . . . so snagging No. 1 really was a lightning strike.
That aint guna happen again for a very long time, if ever.Dunno what the odds were for the other team (Rockets?)

The San Antonio Spurs drafted the Admiral and TD in successive years didn't they? Edit: 10 years in between oops. The Orlando Magic got Shaq and Penny in successive years didn't they?

Teams have had two successive No.1s
But the lottery draw has made it more difficult to achieve that.
The Mavs snagging Flagg last year was super super lucky, I think they had the least chance of any team in the draw to get the first pick.I was a bit Pd off.
They stoopidly dealt one of the best players in the league . . . then lucked a No 1 pick!
Fuck off, they didn't deserve it, and now they are shit, and thats good. -

The Hornets and the Pistons have a big brawl. It wasn't exactly Malice at the Palace, but a bunch of guys are going to get suspensions
The look on Duncan Robinson's face says it all, neither of these teams could afford something like this, stupid that they couldn't focus on the big picture
-
No surprise that Isaiah Stewart was involved. He’s overdue for a crash out.
Bridges, Moussa and Beef Stew definitely will get suspensions.
I don’t think Duren did anything to warrant suspension.
-
i love watching these stretched out motherfuckers try and fight. Throwing them long hands is not easy.
Let the boys biff!!
Beef Stew came off the bench, he's getting heaps.
-
actually the suspensions weren't that bad
