    @mariner4life

    Fuccccckkkkk. 1 year and 2 days ago I was feeling like we were a piece away from a Champsionship contender. Now, it's rebuild time. Fucking Mavs.

    At least the bandage has been well and truly ripped off I guess.

    You look back a few years to when we had Brunson and think about what has been lost, what has been spent, and what has been returned, and holy shit it is a picture of an incompetent set of fluffybunnies.

    Now to tank as hard as a muthafucker and hope that lightening strikes.

          The Mavs had the least chance in last years lottery . . . so snagging No. 1 really was a lightning strike.
          That aint guna happen again for a very long time, if ever.

          Dunno what the odds were for the other team (Rockets?)

            The San Antonio Spurs drafted the Admiral and TD in successive years didn't they? Edit: 10 years in between oops. The Orlando Magic got Shaq and Penny in successive years didn't they?

              @canefan

              Teams have had two successive No.1s
              But the lottery draw has made it more difficult to achieve that.
              The Mavs snagging Flagg last year was super super lucky, I think they had the least chance of any team in the draw to get the first pick.

              I was a bit Pd off.
              They stoopidly dealt one of the best players in the league . . . then lucked a No 1 pick!
              Fuck off, they didn't deserve it, and now they are shit, and thats good.

                      The Hornets and the Pistons have a big brawl. It wasn't exactly Malice at the Palace, but a bunch of guys are going to get suspensions

                      The look on Duncan Robinson's face says it all, neither of these teams could afford something like this, stupid that they couldn't focus on the big picture

                        No surprise that Isaiah Stewart was involved. He’s overdue for a crash out.

                        Bridges, Moussa and Beef Stew definitely will get suspensions.

                        I don’t think Duren did anything to warrant suspension.

                          i love watching these stretched out motherfuckers try and fight. Throwing them long hands is not easy.

                          Let the boys biff!!

                          Beef Stew came off the bench, he's getting heaps.

                              Windhorst reckons that the Pistons are likely happy with it, seems to think it is good for morale and their reputation.

                              He was also saying that now the Moose will get some more people knowing who he is.

                                  One of the great point guards, he was the centre piece of lob city. As a Lakers fan, I will wonder what might have been if David Silver hadn't blocked his trade to LAL. The type of guy home fans love, chippy and sneaky against opposition teams (he had a mean groin punch).

                                        Mark Cuban with a pretty bold tweet today.

                                        What he essentially articulates (or what he implies without saying so necessarily) is that the NBA is primarily an entertainment product rather than a competitive sporting thing and that the NBA regular season is completely pointless other than being a venue to take your kids for a few hours to eat popcorn.

                                        He says no-one remembers the scores of the games they watch and that tanking is not really a big deal.

                                        Maybe he is just saying the quiet part out loud and just stating what everyone already thinks but what it's a pretty astonishing admission for an owner/former owner to make.
