All Blacks - New Coach Selection

I had four thoughts about the Mid-March being both the likely All Blacks Coaching announcement and the end of the Six Nations.

Warren Gatland was working World Rugby on a short-term consultancy with referees. I've no idea if that has already ended, but it might run until the end of the 6 Nations?
NZR are known to be admirers of Shaun Edwards. Again I've no idea if he's tied to France until after the 2027 World Cup, but he's definitely going to be committed to them until the end of an ongoing tournament. Is he going to be the All Blacks new Defence Coach?
Or it might be that a key member of the NZR board is going to be in Europe until the end of the 6 Nations?
Or is it just a coincidence?

Yes - I have it on great authority from some guy on the internet who wrote - in not so many words - that Hanson announced at a team meeting that Ruben Love was blacklisted and would never play for the All Blacks again.

And he never did - except against Wales in the last game when he started at fullback.

Wait, are you trying to turn my post against us? You mean he did play meaningful minutes and wasn't blacklisted? Critical thought typically takes in all factors was my assumption, not just ones that suit an opinion.

Also NZR looking at where they can fit Shag in upon his return. So that could be at Super, not necessarily the ABs

He was the as a player, but has Richie McCaw done any coaching? Shades of England appointing Martin Johnson in the early 2010s. Hopefully, no dwarves will get hurt this time.

He would be there to create the right feels, as you say he has no coaching experience I don't think

The same Breakdown team who thought Scott Robertson was safe from the end of season review and then said Tony Brown definitely had an exit clause from his Springboks deal?

Maybe sorting the ramifications for other teams affected losing a coach.
Highlanders you would think would be fairly straight forward being NZR contract but any other coaches may have to negotiate further and need anonymity at this stage?
Sooner than later would be best even for the remaining Razor team so they can have some employment security, I'd say it can't be great time for them.

@kidcalder Yeah - that's reasonable - but, every day you delay means more leaks in the dike, and it's already pouring.

I'm inclined to think that it's not yet decided and someone posted that a couple of the selection panel have been spotteed on their way to Japan - which seems like a hybrid interview yet to take place.

technical assistant, to be clear heard many rumours..this was just one of them, so i dont give this one much weight, but found it interesting that shag and jj getting mentioned together adds a bit of flavour to it
