@taniwharugby have started shooter, it's an easy watch so far and good enough, still not quite convinced by Phillipe in that role but Wahlberg must have been.
Chance is also very good, 8 episodes in.

I have to admit that Phillippe is the one negative I feel while watching this. I guess he is Wahlbergs mate or something and needed a job. He isn't a bad actor he just has a really bland face that adds little to his character. Kind of the Affleck effect.
Apart from that I am still watching it as light entertainment because it is reasonably well made. -
So, Westworld....interesting finale.
Oddly, the 2nd season isn't due until 2018.

W*********I reckon Hopkins character at the end, was a robot, the way he was talking, it was the plan for Dolores to shoot him, and he has been well ahead of everything so far.
Interesting to see many of the scenes with Dolores were just memories with the young and old William.
Now assume it is called West World, cos there is a South World and so on...? Which brings me to the next bit, given the scale and size, are they on another planet as opposed to somewhere on Earth (although the last scene with Teddy and Dolores was like a movie set)
It hasn't grabbed me like some series, but has kept me interested and left me wanting more.

@taniwharugby isn't it called west world because it's set in the Wild West?

@jegga probably, as that makes sense, although in the final ep they went into another area/world, which made me think there may be other 'worlds'
I've only seen the movie and I think they were differently themed worlds, periods in time or something.

Watched the first two episodes of Hip Hop Evolution on Netflix last night. I am a sucker for Music documentaries and this one has been a cracker to start with
Thanks for the heads up. Have enjoyed the first three eps so far.
Some of the stuff regarding the origins was really interesting. Didn't realise just how long it had been happening before things got more 'noticed'. Good series and some great old footage. -

I kinda figured that was Samurai World?

Yeah it's intriguing more than riveting. The final episode was great (and also provided the type of nudity there has always been massive potential for). Will be interesting to see where they go from here. Will it be a type of Terminator thing, man vs machines?
Spoiler
That Asian dude has to be a host right? No way a human would allow all that shit to go down. His actions are also very robotic.

You would have enjoyed the movie more if you had watched the series first.
Ok so I've watched the TV series (Firefly).
Pretty good overall, when you remember it was made over a decade ago.
Out of everything in the series what I wanted to know most was the Shepherd's background.

Annoyingly the movie doesn't help there.
Did you watch it in broadcast order or in actual order - did you watch the Train Job first or the longer pilot?

The Moodys on Netflix. Originally on ABC. Genuinely funny.
