It's ok @Mokey. Mates missus went to stub out her ciggy after too many dB draughts. Instead did the old stumble forward into a solid wooden fence. Cue a taxi ride home with her 8 & 12 kids giving her grief the whole way home for not being able to speak. Those yanks aren't bad eh.

Ah boxing day. The missus is at the sales. The kids are playing with their new gear. And I'm on the couch flicking between the NFL, the NBA, and two cricket games. Life, she is beautiful

Crayfish was the main feature of the Xmas dinner at my sister's place in Mt Maunganui. Her hubby had been busy - managed to haul in 11 or so over the last month.
Steady diet of beer, sparkling, white, & red wine, and a nightcap of a whisky to finish things off. Drive back to Auckland this morning was not so fun - although I was glad I was driving in that direction, rather than being in the 30kmh procession heading from Auckland to the Coromandel - and that was AFTER the turnoff at the bottom of the Bombays.

Merry Xmas to the fern clan. We got a baby girl for Xmas (2 days before) so this might be my last post for... how many years!!? Probably should be posting gibberish at some ridic hour of the morning!

We've narrowed it down to two names, ha ha totally different to the ones we were considering before bubs arrived. Just seeing which one fits best.
oh yeah, she was due after Xmas but arriving beforehand means she'll definitely get the double-header bday/Xmas combo!
Funnily enough my bro and his missus are expecting their first as well - needless to say Ma and Pa Paekakboyz are off the scale excitement wise!
