It is Sunday, in the middle of January.... and fuck all have turned up to watch test match cricket at the Basin, the Basin needs to be shunted down the pecking order of test venues.

It is a test match, and there were probably couple of hundred in the ground.. on a Sunday... in mid January.

But you are right about the weather, Wellington has shit weather.
There were shitloads there last year for the Aussies, a sellout. It's Bangles and this weather - who is surprised? If anything, a good incentive to play one in Maunganui, Whangarei or even farking Raglan FFS
Probably have to be on a concrete wicket at Raglan.

Chasing 250 of 60 could be an interesting effort on a 5th day (ish) pitch.

Right in the back of the head, not the greatest evasion technique but I really hope he's ok. Was good to see him conscious and moving before they took him to hospital.

TBH we don't deserve to win this match with the amount of catches we've put down.

I see live we are favourites to win this - I can't buy that one, surely the draw is the most likely. Bangladesh are effectively 7 down (apparently the injured opener will bat), they are 193 ahead with 66 overs minimum .. take 2 off for change, and then you are 64 overs. So required is currently about 3. Every over, every run now drastically reduces NZ chances. If the Bangles make 15 more runs and take 5 overs to do it .. which is about the best possible outcome for NZ, then we are looking at 208 from 59 on the 5th day of a basin test.
This match as draw written all over it.

152/8 ... leading by 208 with 61 overs left. Effectively one wicket left too - I can see why we're favourites!
