I haven't watched Aliens in a while but did Bishop die? I thought he survived despite being ripped in half.

He was briefly revived in aliens 3 but he was pretty much fucked after being torn up

Guess I've got to the age where my childhood favourites are starting to get old enough to start dieing regularly. Another real shame, hard not to like Bill Paxton in anything he does.

I didn't see it, but I heard that Mormon series he was in was pretty good.

Nobody going to rate his work in Twister or Mighty Joe Young? Ah well, the pay check was probably phenomenal.

Thought he was awesome in Aliens and was generally a big fan of his work. Real shame.

The movie he directed, Frailty, was good. A very entertaining watch.

Yeah he went from a pussy who bitched and moaned into a genuine badass who took out a few Aliens.

Also great in Predator 2 as the smartass cop.
