I've just read Michael Caine's autobiography ...
<br />

He's been in a few ones. I am reminded also now of Sean Connery, who (supposedly) passed on LOTR, but accepted League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. He'll always be Bond to me, though Man Who Would Be King is also iconic. -
Bridesmaids; I liked it, similar in plot (even a character) to Hangover with more smutty jokes, the fat chick is disgusting, but funny<br />
<br />
How to Train your dragon, kids film, based on a series of books, was a cool tale and my son loved it! -
Watched an old Gregory Peck western last night called The Gunfighter . Would highly reccommend it to any western fan that hasn't already seen it .

Warner Bros. remaking Keanu Reeves/Patrick Swayze 1991 action film 'Point Break'<br />

I can see it now, Paul Walker as Utah, Vin Diesel as Bodhi and The Rock as Pappas!

I was watching Moby Dick the other month (a superb abridged version scripted by Ray Bradbury and directed by John Huston - and a movie I am surprised hasn't been remade) and Peck makes an excellent Ahab. But every time I see him, be it Guns of Naverone or To Kill A Mockingbird), and certainly through no fault of his own, I can't stop thinking about this. -
he aint been in any Fast and Furious has he <img src='http://www.daimenhutchison.com/invision/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':lol:' /> <br />

Yeah odd film to be remaking, some films should be sacrilege (sp) I mean whats next, re-make Star Wars, Gremlins, ET? -

I have also read somewhere recently that they are either remaking it at the moment or it is in planning.

For a book that is mostly unfilmable, Huston directed a really nice abridged version that retains the story, and the effects hold up pretty well. -
I actually quite liked the film . I generally watch it every time it has another round on TCM channel
-
TCM is my favourite channel.
-
Horrible Bosses; pretty solid cast in attendance (Kevin Spacey, Jamie Foxx, Jason Batemen, Jennifer Anniston, Colin Farrel, Donal Sutherland) <br />
<br />
Had heard some poor reviews so went in not expecting much, and I actually liked it, quite a few moments had me chuckling away. -
Went to see Moneyball last night. 7/10. The writers did a pretty good job pulling a movie out of that book. But it's the book that should really be read by all sports fans.

Wife convinced me to watch Crazy, stupid love...Steve Carrell, JUlianne Moore, Emma Stone, Ryan Gosling, Marisa Tomei plus a few other faces I knew. Am in deficit because of constant rugby viewing the past 2 or 3 months....<br />
<br />
Had quite a few moments I thought were funny, but mostly it is what it is, a rom-com! -
