The "Top Secret America" documentary on PBS Frontline. Recommended. The early piece on evaluating the size of the private intelligence contracting industry is also recommended. The scale of this unaccountable industry is quite staggering - over 1 million employees apparently.
Sons of Anarchy is back tonight.

As a commentator put it on the AV Club:
Saw Ep1 last night. SOA in great form and an interesting storyline set up. I see it broke records for opening episode veiwers too.

Glad I watched those short 'Appisodes' though. Certainly the first one, or I could have miseed the reasoning behind what happened.

Anyone who lost interest during the waffling on part on Series 3 in Ireland should come back if the first episode is a good indication of this series.

New sOhO channel on Sky (for NZ viewers who havent downloaded them already) seems to have cornered the market in quality drama. Downton Abbey 2, Empire Boulevard 2, Game of Thrones, Borgias. Plus exclusive access to HBO content.

Cleverly launching a week after RWC Final.

Empire Boulevard 2, GOT, Mad Men all being advertised on SoHo. Borgias will be FTA on TV3 and a search for Downton 2 in NZ brought up a Prime Tweet implying it would be there.

I'm finding SOA4 compelling viewing. You are watching knowing full well that there ain't gonna be a happy ending to this tale. The Hamlet comparisons are lining up big and Hamlet was, after all, a tragedy. The hole is getting dug deeper and deeper.
The characters are just so f'ing good and believable too. So far there is no 'filler' to pad the series out like Series 3 either.
