@Kirwan ah yes, I just checked IMDB and S1 straddled 2015/2016 so looked like more than 1 season, S2 started beginning of Feb.
Season 3 just got greenlighted too.
-
@taniwharugby you enjoyed it? huh...
I watched the first couple and thought "wow, this is shit. Stylish shit" and never went any further. It was more over the top than a cartoon.
-
@mariner4life you talking The Expanse or Into the Badlands?
-
@taniwharugby Into the Badlands
-
@mariner4life thought it was a decent watch, with a bit of your old school mytical kung fu with almost super powers.

What's the opinion on Iron Fist?
Copped a lot of bad press before it was even released but of the Marvel Defender TV stuff I have found it quite watchable.
Daredevil 1 - enjoyed
Daredevil 2 - lost me early on
JJ- enjoyed
Luke Cage - lost me about 2/3s through
Iron Fist - still watching -
@Crucial Yeah seems a bit more bubblegum than the others for some reason, but was very watchable. I've enjoyed them all, although same as you on Daredevil. There was no way I was going to stop watching Luke Cage with the everlasting hope of more glimpses of the cop's rack. Her indoors has enjoyed them all apart from Daredevil too.

Iron Fist - still watchingI reckon JJ is the best of them, I watched all DD S2 but was a bit messy...haven't bothered with Cage or Iron Fist, yet....
@Rembrandt good to hear that, I hunk I'll wait for the series to end before I look at it.

Agree with the above, the villian in JJ was outstanding. I was out of my chair yelling at the TV in the finale.
I'm a huge DD nerd, so I enjoyed the stupidity of the second DD series. Cage was great until they killed their cool villian and that ending was just awful.
Haven't had time to watch Iron Fist, and wasn't a comic I ever read so less interested. Have heard the Game of Thrones actor is pretty terrible at the fight scenes and they haven't put a mask on him so can't hide it with the stunt man.

@taniwharugby Yeah, loving Fargo. Halfway through season 2.

I'm looking forward to American Gods, based on the Neil Gaiman novel, which is one of my favourite fantasy novels. I hope they don't screw it up, the trailer is awesomely gory but the lead is some dude who used to be in Hollyoaks :(. They've cast Ian McShane as Mr Wednesday though, so hopefully we should get Al Swearingen with a big hammer. Out on Amazon Prime on 1st May.

Amazon seem to do a good job with most of the stuff they have done so far, I haven't read the books but I saw this and added to my watch list.
