@MN5 to be fair, i think it's less the two dads, and more
One dad died after like a week, and the other one cut off his legs and left him burned to fuck on the edge of a lava river, didn't even put him out of his misery (dick move OWK).
That would fuck anyone up.

You're just making excuses because the truth doesn't fit your neoliberal narrative.
Wake up.

Fake news, Tarkin exploded planets. Vader was not a fan of the Death Star. Sad.
See! You bigots instantly went after the black (suited) guy while conveniently ignoring the evil old white guy.

In other news my sons are whinging that they only have three new Star Wars movies to watch in three years ( provided Last Jedi is released as planned )
Cry me a river you little fuckers, how do you think 1983-1999 was for me ?
You meant 2015 right?

He was already too far gone when dad chopped him up. The real nefarious influence wasn't the dads, but the creepy old guy. Can also blame Mace Windu for not making him a Jedi Master. Classic case of reverse racism.
Btw, is their any truth to the rumour that the guy cast as Han Solo is such a shit actor that they had to call in an acting coach?

It will be interesting to see where they go with the force though. Part of the 'charm' of the original was that it was clear cut good v bad. You are one of either. Audiences didn't need to decipher nuances in the characters. They either deserved a blaster between the eyes or they didn't. That's why the 'Han shot first' scene was changed. Han had to also play along and be clearly a good guy.
Now the talk is that Luke has worked out that the force is one thing and being pious one way or another will not end well. 'The one who brings balance' no longer means the good guy that eliminates the bad guy but the guy who sits in the middle. -

He made sure there were only two jedi, and two sith left at the end of RoTS.
Then when Luke started using the force, he killed OWK, so there was still two each.
Then when Yoda died, he killed the Emporer so there was only 1 each
Then he remembered he was a good bloke really, so he died to only leave old Lukey as the only bloke around.
Did his best to balance everything up all the time, and kept copping shit for it. -

That was one of the rumours, but the whole thing sounds like a shit show.
They hired directors known for improvising on set and got annoyed when they went off script. That said, some of leaks said it felt like an Ace Ventura film. Yikes.
Warren Beauty has had good things to say about the guy as an actor for the film he did with him. But maybe he’s been miscast?
Seems like a pointless movie to me. We had a young Han Solo film already, it was called A New Hope.

I'm torn between having the Han/Chewie background story become canon or leaving it as a bunch of rumours. Also the Han/Lando background. In a way it is quite cool to have them as unconfirmed legends.

Yeah, whatever can imagine would probably be cooler than what they end up doing.
And it’s the main thing that was wrong with the prequels, stretching out a backstory.

Yeah Im not too keen on this. Would much prefer a Boba Fett movie or even Knights of the Old Republic.
A Wedge film would also be cool. He's one of my favourite characters.

I can handle some of my favourite film series going to shit ( Jaws, Alien, Bond, Indiana Jones )......
I would go fucken postal if Star Wars released a truly bad flick.
