Finished Marvels Defenders.
It was decent enough, would watch the next series but much prefer the Jessica Jones series and Dare Devil as stand alones, with JJ as preferred of those.
@MN5 yeah that's the series I posted a link to above that I thought looked good.
Franco is pretty good in most things, and was in the last series I watched with him (11.22.63) so added it to my watch list.

So I just finished watching Jessica Jones. I didn't really think much of Daredevil so his was never high on my watching list but I wanted to clear if from my hard drive so decided to watch it. I thought it was great. I do think that it only needed to be 10 episodes though, too much filler and SPOILER ALERT - they did the capture, then get away one too many times.
Hasn't made me want to watch the 2nd Daredevil though, but I kind of want to see what they do with the Punisher.
Have just started watching The Handmaids Tale and for some reason I had no idea whatsoever what it was about - great first episode.

@taniwharugby a couple of episodes into The Expanse and it looks good. Very high production values.

Just started watching ' The Son'. Pierce Brosnan doing a surprisingly good job of making me forget he was a crap bond. Looks promising.
Enjoyed it. A different cowboy story.

3 episodes in. Really good so far. Maths isn't my strong point @MiketheSnow but is Eli supposed to be over 80 years old given he'd be in his mid teens in 1849 and it's mainly set in 1915?

Didn't really think about it tbh.
Just went with it.

Completely unhelpful but thanks anyway.
The Indian bloke who kinda mentors him is awesome.

@MN5 that Indian guy is a farking annoying Reservation Sheriff in Longmire.
Yeah Son was decent, the Mexican chick is hot (well not so much in this, but otherwise)

up to date with Sinner, and is intriguing.
It seems clear what is going on at that club, but maybe that's just what they want you to think is where the story is going...
Is always frustrating watching most US series where cops are involved and anything that involves a POlice Dept and the Sheriff, State POlice, FBI or whatever, there is always friction and dickwaving, they rarely seem to co-operate or be able to operate with a common goal, but then if that is how it is in RL, then may as well portray it like that.

Designated Survivor.
Kiefer has moved from 24 to mild mannered reluctant President after (almost) everyone else dies in a State of the Union address.
The acting is hammy, particularly from Kiefer. The plot is predictable until you feel the writers found themselves in a particular situation and determined the easiest way out was a Game of Thrones type surprise.
I wouldn’t recommend it unless you’re a fan of a strange mixture of West Wing, 24 and Days of our Lives…
