Oh, the Clone Wars was great. Did everything with the characters that the movies didn’t.

By the way, see Morrison is pitching a Captain Rex movie?

Cool. Rex became a big part of the SW Rebels series as well where his character was developed even further. Rebels is part of the new cannon (as is CW I think) so the background stuff is all there.
It would make a good movie in the SW Universe with only the odd easter egg cameo needed to tie in. No need for any characters from the main movies to be involved.

PS: Clever of Tem to push this idea as his likeness is used in the animated version and he has to pay the bills somehow.

This star wars thread is like a dry fly to RS

You claim Wedge did nothing. You have no credibility on a SW forum. Next you'll claim Luke lost his leg in ESB.

Poster for TLJ with Vaders helmet drawn over it. Quite clever.

Saw a comparison of all the Star Wars posters, and all except Episode 2 has the villain in Luke’s position on the current poster

@mn5 He doesn't appear to be the major figure that the Emperor was does he. Which begs the question, if he isn't filling to uber-villain role, who will be?

Surely he is though. Ren and whatshisname were very subservient and respectful towards him.

@mn5 you'd think so wouldn't you? I can't remember if D Sidious made the ROTJ poster or not

@canefan quick check shows Palpatine didn't make the poster of ep 6. So that's that mini theory squashed

@kirwan Prediction: Luke and Rey to the dark side. Emo can't kill mummy and goes back to the light. Everyone loves a redemption story and what better one than fighting for good after killing his dad...

@antipodean What does redemption in Ep8 leave to do in Ep9?

Some theory going round the interweb is that Han pushed the button on the lightsaber and killed himself. After all we don't actually get a close up do we?

I think you mean Harrison Ford pushed the button to kill himself. How long has he been wanting to kill off Han?

I recall the urban legend conversation where he told George Lucas how shitty the dialogue was. Sir Alec Guiness was reputedly irritated that after such a storied career SW was what most people remembered him from

Yet HF was happy to inflict a horrific 4th Indiana Jones movie on us.

As for Alec Guiness not much sympathy there. He said all that and still came back for two fucken sequels!
