Caleb Ralph though, he'd glide through the whole film unnnoticed, then pop up right at the end, kill the baddie, score the winning try, and get the girl.

Or Reuben Thorne! He too would glide through the whole film unnnoticed, then ......ummm

    Ok, maybe not.

My favourite Reuben Thorne memory (love that memory) was when he was described by John Mitchell as a "non-verbal captain". Did he beat Pocock to using sign-language first?

Surprisingly low ranking for a female John Wick film ;).

Although, TBF I did see it for free, and was given free choc tip ice creams and lollies, so there's at least an extra double agent there!

@nepia found many of the fight scenes choreography a bit average and less believable than even the ridiculously unbelievable scenes in John Wick if that makes sense haha.

Theron musta got through a few packs of ciggies in the film too.

Finally got around to watching the Chasing Great doco on Richie.

I liked it, but then I'm a fan of his and a rugby tragic and for for those types of stories, sooooo....

It didn't really dig deeper than his book or what we already knew about him, just added around what we already knew I guess.

Still got tingles watching the final moments of 2011 & elation watching Smith put that grubber through for Beaudie!

3 RWC wins out of, 3...🤔

    3...2...1...

Thor: Ragnarok was pretty awesome - it's basically a NZ Marvel movie and pretty much a straight up comedy. The crowd started clapping twice during the film and then at the end. It was a bit weird, doesn't happen too often (I think aside from Star Wars I've only seen it at premieres).

Taika did an awesome job, and kept all the best lines for himself. Chucked in a The Castle line as well.

I had a look at the sets at Village Roadshow studios on the Gold Coast last year and it was interesting to see which of the planet's characters the extra's I saw in the film were.

I'm back on the Thor train again (the previous one is my least favourite Marvel movie).

The audience clapped when I saw it too, great film and up there as one of the best Marvel films.
Great to see another in the vein of Guardians of the Galaxy.
Another fine example how Marvel is pissing all over DC at the moment.

Still a great movie, watched it again recently
Another sci fi film that came out the same year was pretty useful too

@catogrande I watched it at the time but have never seen it since and wouldn't bother again. Very Spielberg - and that's not a good thing

Loved it as a kid, loved it the last time I watched it - about 2 years ago.

For it's time and audience it was good.

I've never watched ET and I never will, barring eyes peeled open torture in some shithole with a VCR and pirated tape on a 18" CRT...

    And then only maybe.
