Does Mindhunter start getting good? Two episodes in and it's pretty tedious
Gets excellent. Stick with it
Absolutely fascinating subject matter but nothing has really happened yet. Interesting to note that Ed Kemper is still alive in real life and a model prisoner who isn't remotely interested in getting parole.

Finished S1 of Startup...good series!
:::
Knew Alex Bells PA was dodgy, but didn't realize it'd be to that extent!
Assume Ron Perlman has something to do with the Russian Mafia?
What I don't get it I thought the FBI wanted to talk to Freeman about the disappearance of the other FBI Agent...he vanishes for I guess a day or so, so surely they'd of thought hey WTF, this guy is prime suspect now, but now he's back to FBIing?

@taniwharugby you need to make a start on S2!
Halfway through S2 of Chance. Shit just stepped up a level.

Stranger Things S2.
I finished watching this tonight. As Eleven says, bitchin.
It's fun to see all of the 80s references (no spoilers) and hear the music of the era. Motley Crue on the sounds, that reminded me of parties I went to back then. It will be a long wait for S3.

I'm four episodes in and think it's great. I had to stop myself from going on a bingewatch at the end of episode 2.
Da,m, the end of the opening scene was a WTF moment.

Yeah but very little action since. I'm still 50/50 about it

Sounds like it's not your bag then, if you're wanting action from it.

It's a cerebral programme. Not a 80s action movie.

I do get that but you can be all that and actually create a bit of drama and tension. This show doesn't.

Quite a few similarities between Silicon Valley and Startup, but I guess they are common to tech startups in general?
Obviously the Silicon Valley gang were always coming up against Gaven Belson, while the Startup crew have Alex Bell against them.
Good to see Perlman turn up (ep 3 I think I'm on) have to assume he is a dodgy fecker being mates with Nicks dad, and he is usually a dodgy fecker.

Watched episode onebof SMILF.
This could turn out to be really good.
-
@taniwharugby Ron Perlman? Never dodgy, he's obviously a solid, reliable bloke.
