I've been listening to this Swedish band over the last couple of days. This animated music video seems appropriate given the conversation on the alternative news thread.
Not a single steak-and-cheese, potato-top, or even nasty chicken-and-vegetable pie in that. WTF?
This probably has the required sexual connotations (albeit not all girl on girl, just some) and mentions pies (of sorts)
You pervs will also like it.
"Slice Of Your Pie"
Tattoo crawlin'down her leg, so sexy
So young...ever get caught they'll arrest me
School girl, studied up well on hoochie coochie
Lick lips, kitten with a whip so undress me, undress meHey, pretty pretty
With the sweet sweet eyes
Order me up another slice of your pieWhiplash, I never looked at you in high school
Hot child, always walk behind you for the rear view, rear view
Good God, baby, baby blow my fuse when you walk this way
Nineteen, seductive ballerina, so trashy, trashy Hey, pretty pretty
With the sweet sweet eyes
Order me up another slice of your pie
(slice of my pie)Hey pretty pretty from across the room
Got something sticky sweet for you
Order me up another slice of you
Slice of you, yeahHey pretty pretty from across the room
Got something sticky sweet for you (slice of my pie)
Hey pretty pretty with the sweet sweet eyes
Guaranteed to satisy
Just one wish before I die...
Order me up another slice of your pie
Pretty, pretty -
Saw this album posted at a popular bittorrent site the other day, took a flier and glad I did. First-class African funk from 1972. The cd-rip/flac files/wav conversion has far greater tonal range than the flat audio version posted at youtube (vinyl-rip), give it a listen - if you like old school funk beats you should hunt it down.
Artist: Manu Dibango, Song title: "O Boso"; LP title: "Soul Makossa".

I was flicking through that channel the other day and saw videos by Billy Joel and Gerry Rafferty - both would be considered classic in the music sense. And then what was the next group? The fuckin' Spice Girls!
BTW, that's Margaret Urlich on backing vocals there.

Getting ready for the new Star Wars movie - this is the 12" single of Meco's disco remix of the original movie soundtrack. He does go through all the main themes in the correct order for Episode IV

Explosions in the sky - Those who tell.. LP $9
Explosions in the sky - The earth is not LP $10. might grow on me but not looking good. ps both these cunting lp's arrived brand new, in shrink wrap, and fuckign warped. GTFO.Apropos of very little except that Explosions in the sky did the backing music on this video, which is my favourite skiing video - mainly because Telluride is the best and coolest place I've ever skied and this was the trailer that finally sold me on the choice!

Most of those prices are bargains. I'm a record dealer, and rarely buy anything other than NM-graded first pressings, 'cos they're usually less expensive than the overpriced modern re-presses; and you got mostly deals.

Funkadelic's Maggot Brain, 1st USA press, Mint, still in shrink, $5 at a thrift shop. That was my steal of the year.

Picked this up at a used bookstore in amazing condition last month for peanuts. Amazing record.

The Association are super-corny, but after listening to a smokin' instrumental version by George Benson of "And Along Comes Mary" -- a mischevious pop hit about a young man solving the tribulations of life with a bong -- I had to get the original... and I can't get either out of my head. Subtly ingenious.
