Second observation, his sons are named Sonny Crockett and Emmett Crockett. That family knows how to do bad-ass names.

It is with immediate effect, will finish season with Crusaders and then done there too, but returning to Mako$ to see out his career.

Very cool letter and a classy way to go.
Wyatt's always been a master of timing - 71 test caps and only three losses (two last year)!
Will look forward to seeing him at the Mako - should be a very handy acquisition and replacement for Hames!

He showed great courage to come back from "Rome-gate", thanks Stuart Dickinson. I think he might have been pushed if he hadn't jumped, but he has given great service to province and country.

Agreed. That could have ended the career of a lesser person. Thankfully it didn't. I was always critical of what seemed to be Wyatt's propensity to give away a needless penalty, but he's been a dependable rock in the pack for a long time now.
Nice of him to step aside with enough time for the coaches to further develop the younger guys coming through.
