No such thing as a fish
A weekly podcast from the QI research team. 4 of them each have a interesting fact of the week, and they then riff of each others facts to fill a 30 minute podcast in front of a live audience each week. Funny, and informational.
Up to 191 episodes now, so a good backlog to work through if you like it.
ha!! I mentioned that about 6 months ago. I've seen them record the podcast, and their BBC TV spin off, So Such Thing as the News. Both excellent.
Incidentally, they're coming to New Zealand next year, worth checking out for sure.

Ever wonder about the story behind the M60 tank police chase in San Diego?
It involved a suburban backyard goldmine and a lot of meth.
@jegga Tim put me onto Dollop with this gem.

Actually I did listen to that a while back when it was posted , meth head plumber steals tank?

The latest Episode One is a pretty good parody of music critics. Black Flanders and Seasonal Depression Candle are pretty decent parody songs.

This was intense to listen to , the part with the rock especially

Donald TrumpDavid Dennison.Very interesting

Listening to this https://www.acast.com/theeasternborder/introduction , the narrator is pretty funny in a dry way . If you like Dan Carlin you’ll like this. The space race one is pretty hard going , the soviets really didn’t value human life and this has to be the worst open casket funeral ever.
Listened to the valley recommended by @taniwharugby , thought it was decent, could have been longer. Defence have started to concede some of the points raised it it too.

Not a podcast, but a one off 1 hour documentary

If you want to know the background to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict this is a great podcast. There’s awfulness from everyone involved.
