    great match, great series.

Fucked up game really. Remember England lost their 2nd at 267 after 38, and were heading for 390. We were 2/2 chasing 335. Up and down much?

Nicholls hits a six thus ensuring his selection for the next 2 years.

Taylor you're an absolute legend. that man deserves a guard of honour where everyone gives him a blowie as he walks by. I have never been so disappointed to be unable to watch the BCs before.

The only negative from this. George Worker at 6 would make sense (or Munro at 6 and Worker opening).

That was just a mightily awesome innings from Rossco - potentially career defining.

Pretty much won that game on his own, with a bit of support from Ish Sodhi - and a few other guys who didn't disgrace themselves, but whose names don't warrant mentioning in the same sentence in regard to this match. 🙂 Tom Latham - good work.

    Awesome!!!

Surely our medical profession is sufficiently advanced that they can whip a quad muscle out of some mediocre batsman and implant it into Rossco.

Lift your game, medical fuckers! 🙂

Not that you can replace Taylor, but who will they bring in for Chch? Chapman? Ugh.

England won't play like this again, so we are going to have to bowl and FIELD out of our skins. And everyone will have to contribute with the bat. Yes, glaring at you, Guptill and Munro. And no fucking 18 run overs, Southee.

Not bad getting 339 when the much vaunted opening pair get 0 between them. Good work lads.

Need Sir Ross Taylor fit in time for test century #18 🙂

Another positive, no one is wondering out loud any more why certain players don’t get IPL contracts....😆

Isn’t it good to see a series played between teams who respect each other and don’t have to resort to bully tactics and acting like classless bogans.

Nothing beats a game of ODI cricket when it's played like this. Even rugby comes a distant second for me.

This is worth examining - to point to guys who have seriously under-performed with the bat. Too many one innings "wonders". ("wonder" being defined as made a few).

Rossco, Kane, Latham and Santner on the right side of the ledger.

    Everyone else...shithouse.

Guptill, Munro and de Grandhomme - one score wonders.

    Lift your games!!!!!

Just read the whole thread. Talk about the depths to the heights!

Greatest NZ ODI innings ever. Contender for greatest ODI innings outright.

Beats me why England did not use their best bowler for his 10 overs allotment. Woakes has been brilliant all series. Wood bowled some shockers. Wonderful gutsy effort from Taylor!

I wish they could find room for Devcich in this squad, as the slow bowling options seem to prosper better than the quicks.
