@booboo This seemed a little harsh:

"The most popular name that didn't make the grade was Prince, or versions of it, which was rejected on seven occasions."

Perhaps you have to be called "the artist formally known as ....'" then it would be O.K? Rogue isn't bad either.

I actually liked the name X. Just so practical when signing shit, also used to know a guy who was a Xavier, and his surname ended in X as well (Belgian). He was just known as X - worked for him.

I dated women years ago who should have been called Ida-Qween. A personality entitlement thing - would have been perfect.

I think my attitude to Bogan names is softening.

I'm impressed they spelled it proper. Maybe it's pronounced Rogg-way or they thought it was spelled Roag, or they're X-Men fans.

Legion-King and Messiah bear watching. The apocalypse may be closing in!

Royaale? Can't get past John Travolta drawling "Royaale with Cheese"!

I called ANZ the other day and Magenta was very helpful.

She laughs in the face of those who thought she'd be unemployable with a name like that.

That would be an unusual experience at the ANZ!

She must be a relict of the National Bank.

If her dad could spell Magneto properly you would never have been able to post that.

    Some good reading here.

Seems we're enlightened on to in lil ol Enzee as poor little Metallica would be banned in Sweden.

Got to feel sorry for . , \ , 4real and H-Q's parents not being able to use their desired names ...

While these stories normally bore me... they used to be yearly, now it seems every couple of months there's an excuse to roll it out again...
I did like imagining the super-linear thinking behind the name "Sex Fruit".

    I rather liked Smelly Head.

Edit: that might have come out a little wrong.

Sergio Garcia's new daughter's named after a golf hole...
The name itself isn't so bad but not sure I'd like the whole world knowing my names history

I already get asked about dogmeat about 3 times/week.

My son informs me that 15 year old Zaran was proudly displaying his first born on Facebook last night. Looking forward to finding out its name.

    Is Dryft a name yet?

So now you made me do it and look up golf hole names that might be appropriate for a girl.
Some favorites that fit in this thread:
    Pink dogwood
    Flowering peach
    Carolina cherry
    Redbud

That is just from Augusta. There were some acceptable ones but no good for a bogan thread.

@dogmeat whats the story about dogmeat with an avatar of a cat?

Pretty much every golf course names their golf holes, so am sure some decent ones to choose from, and he appears to have chosen one that is reasonable at least

    Azalea Adele Garcia

@Snowy you were on the right course at least, hole 13.

Yeah, I ignored that one because it was actually O.K. I guess Sergio isn't a bogan.

You've got me. Is Zaran mum or dad?
