Just showed this vid to my Dad, who is a cop in Melbourne, specifically runs the booze bus. He knows the cop in this quite well (Ash).

As an older bloke in the police, he likes to "educate" his crew and usually has a word of the day that they have to guess the meaning of. He has promised that the next time Ash is on this crew, the word of the day will be "definitive". -
It's official:
Pardon for my gnorance, but was that video a pisstake? Those rides seemed Dr Seuss ish!!!! Especially the 14 hour one. -
Well, it's ingenious and a joke, although not a pisstake, it's funny and a brilliant. It's won numerous awards in the last year at film screenings: http://www.icr-science.org/awards.htm
There's so much on that website that's fascinating, it's one of my 20 top sites at the moment-just wish I had more time. http://www.thisiscolossal.com -
Erick Higuera was awarded the 2013 Stan Waterman Award for Excellence in Underwater Videography for this short film about the tremendous range of biodiversity that exists in the waters of Baja, Mexico, which took him a year to complete.
surely if the range was so tremendous it shouldnt have taken him a year to complete <img src='http://www.daimenhutchison.com/rugby/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />

excellent 80 minute documentary film about the rise of West Indies cricket in the 1970s and beyond.
Clive Loyd was a great leader, but Viv Richards was very cool. Tony Greig's comment about WI grovelling really lit a fire under them against England, and then after the World Series, they swept all before them.

Viv : "Stand up stand up, stand up for your rights....and you walk onto the field, and it's totally embedded in your mind... battlefield music..."
his armband showed the African calling-...Viv: "the green, for the land itself. The yelow, for the taken, stripped away. The red meant the blood that was shed".

Michael Holding-From 1980 to 1995, the WI did not lose a test series....15 years-and no other sporting team in any discipline anywhere in the world dominated their sport for 15 years....and we are very proud of that.
Grantland has their new ESPN 30-For-30 short posted, about the most valuable sports card in the world.
The latest film is Holy Grail: The T206 Honus Wagner from Nick and Colin Barnicle. The T206 Honus Wagner is the most famous baseball card in the world. Bought and sold many times over, the copy once owned by Wayne Gretzky has now appreciated to nearly $3 million. But, this gem may have been doctored. From mere speculation, the accusations of alteration have risen all the way to federal indictments. But this is still "just" a baseball card. It is a small square in the tapestry of our national pastime. And, as the art world readily illustrates, it may be that no matter what was done or not done to "The Card," its value really does lie in the eye of the beholder.
