Who takes those acting jobs on and thinks " this will be good for my career"?<br />
<br />
What's worse is the some fuckwit probably thinks its art.<br />

Bizarrely this is also in the wiki article <br />
Charlotte Gainsbourg as "She": French actress Eva Green was initially approached for the female lead. According to Von Trier, Green was positive about appearing in the film, but her agents refused to allow her. The unsuccessful casting attempt took two months of the pre-production process. Eventually Gainsbourg turned up, and by Von Trier's words she was very eager to get cast: "Charlotte came in and said, 'I'm dying to get the part no matter what.' So I think it was a decision she made very early and she stuck to it. We had no problems whatsoever."[sup][[/sup]
<br />

How did they get the money to make this weirdness? -

M4L's real name appears in the credits as Executive Producer <img src='http://www.daimenhutchison.com/rugby/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' /><br />
<br />
4 minutes included "cleanup time" then? Right after you saw Little Willem and his Arabian Goggles make an appearance... -
handy tips. Clean up times can be significantly reduced by using a drop sheet.<br />
<br />
and according to wiki, it wasn't Sgt Elias' cock, they had a stunt cock -
To try and get this thread back on track I'll discuss a movie without genital mutilation ....<br />
<br />
Robot and Frank.<br />
<br />
Set in the near future, Frank is an old fulla who has Alzheimers or dementia and his son gets him a robot to help care for him. I'd advise you not to watch the trailer as it gives away the whole movie.<br />
<br />
Was pretty good, funny in parts and Frank is played by Frank Langhella. Liv Tyler was in it as well, not sure the last movie I can remember seeing her in. -

would be Lord of the Rings trilogy for me which means she has done SFA for the last ten years -
Liv's problem is that she has the unfortunate combination of a lack of talent, and too many principles to get her kit off. It's really holding her back.

And that she looks far too much like her dad. -
Dude looks like a lady?<br />
<br />
Come one, you can say a lot of things about Liv Tyler, but she isn't bad to look at. -

<br />
well, there you go. Go on Liv, get amongst it. Not bad at all.<br />
<br />
And further investigation reveals her also getting the girls out while fucking Jax Teller in some crap called "The Ledge" -
Jaysus, I tried to right this ship and get some class back into this thread but you bastards can turn anything into filth. <img src='http://www.daimenhutchison.com/rugby/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />

I'm not sure about liv. I saw her out once at Barneys( once a wellington/uni institution for getting easy roots and listening to horrible 80s power ballads ) and she looked average as fuck. She is like Darryl Hannah. Looks alright at first but then you realise she a bit of a horse. -
Barneys! I havent thought about that place in a while , quite the dive but it didn't have the crack house ambience of the Diner.<br />
<br />
I always thought Liv was pretty hot myself but I think Angelina Jolie looks like Gollum with boobs so what do I know? -

it's a talent...<br />
<br />
Barney's. Awesome. I reckon Liv goes alright, but she's hardly stunning. She's not close to the "Mrs Mariner has to let me hit that if the opportunity comes up" list. -
Moneyball: Since I have a nerdish obsession with North American sports team management I absolutely loved this film. Watched it twice in a row. Sure certain parts were made up (though Bean and the A's manager didn't like each other was true) but I don't care. 9.5/10
Read the book. As usual there is much more information about how Billy Beane did what he did. Great story -
The Last Stand - Big Arnie, Smaller Forest Whittaker and JOhnny KNoxville in a shoot em up film as a high ranking Cartel member orchestrates a elaboarte escape from prison and then has to drive hundreds of miles to the Mexican border in a 1000Horsepower Corvette stolen from a Car show while he has a small army building a bridge for his escape into Mexico just outside the little town where Arnie is the Sheriff, add in a couple of hot chicks...<br />
<br />
I know, a plot that cannot fail right! -
Went and saw "Olympus has Fallen" with a couple of lads last night. (for those that don't know, Nth Korean terrorists take over the White House, it's up to one man to save the day).<br />
<br />
What can i say but<br />
<br />
'Murica! wooooooo!!!!<br />
<br />
This movie is so over the top, if it had been made in the '80s, people would have said "gee, that's a bit much isn't it?". It has so much testosterone, it is so manly, one of the chicks watching left the theatre pregnant. It ticks every single action cliche box. The director, and Gerard Butler, obviously watched "Die Hard" 47 times each to prepare for this movie.<br />
<br />
But, for all that, i was entertained for just under 2 hours. Heaps (and i mean heaps) of fluffybunnys get shot in the head. Several get stabbed in the head. There are some "so over the top you have to laugh" moments, but ultimatly, it is what is says on the box, a brainless action movie. Probably not worth theatre prices to see though. <br />
<br />
<br />
As an aside, i saw a trailer for something called "Dead Man Down". Can anyone tell me if Colin Farrell has ever been in a good movie? It had promise, but not sure i will bother.
