One of the most impressive things about the show is the pace at which the story has been told. The could have drawn that out for a longer season, but it wouldn't have been as good. This has also meant that the less believable bits (or flaws) have either been quickly dismissed or explained and pushed aside.
Could be a few explanations for Mrs S. No one has been identified as Sarah's watcher and they even mention at one point that she (Sarah) had been 'lost'. It could be that Mrs S was part of the operaion but went rogue. She maybe left the photo on purpose as a clue for Sarah to follow and fight them.

Quite good that there are grey characters as well.

Also good that there is another hot clone (or proclone) around. Makes my planned get together more fun <img src='http://www.daimenhutchison.com/rugby/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />

Yep, I'm glad they didn't let too much of the mystery go unexplained.
I expect that much of series 2 will focus on her trying to find Kira so they already have that arc. And yep agree with you on Mrs S, what 'side' she is on could go either way.
I wonder if Tatiana Maslany gets paid per character or just a normal rate? When the credits come up I always think her name should be displayed multiple times instead of once and then all the male characters.

An interesting post season 'review' here http://screenrant.com/orphan-black-season-2/ with no spoilers, but had his interesting comment within
Doing all these stellar performances justice is an exceptional team of writers. The Orphan Black scribes never introduce anything and forget about it nor do they include elements for the sake of giving themselves story leeway down the road; every single thing from episode one to episode ten has value. Security camera footage, money, lies, the smallest props and more. It’s all been thought out extensively, leaving Orphan Black with far fewer holes than most shows.
I have to agree with that. The 'unbelievables' are really imagination stretches and if you do think you've spotted a flaw it's usually answered.
A really good example of this is when Donny is being tortured with the hot glue the excuse he gives for getting up in the middle of the night is to watch Cricket which starts at 4am. If you noticed when Alison played back her spycam, it was more like 1.30am when he got up. Only the fact that it was Sarah and not Alison that got that answer saved him.

They didn't make a big deal of it at all so you weren't sure if it was a plot hole or a plot device.
Well, GoT has made something of a habit of delivering huge penultimate episodes in a series, so I was on tenterhooks for this one.
Next week could be amazing too - you never know with GRR Martin .... <img src='http://www.daimenhutchison.com/rugby/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />
Dont read spoiler if you havent read the books...
I dont expect a great deal to happen in the next ep as that (the other wedding and the stuff after) will more likely be the climax of the next series? I should really refresh myself as I cant recall alot, but then that will add to the surprise...the Red Wedding did seem particularly brutal too

Book spoilers below. You are warned
I think the final episode will include the initial Wildling attack on Castle Black, and the episode will end when Ygrette dies in Jon Snow's arms. And non book readers will be upset again. On the other stories, I guess we might see Coldhands meeting Sam the Slayer and Gillie.

That leaves Joffrey's wedding, Oberyn Martell, Tywin's fateful trip to the privy, Sansa heading to the Erie, and the major Wildling attack and Stannis' arrival at the Wall for next season (part two of a Storm of Swords)
Watched a show called "Hatfields & McCoys" last night. About a family feud at the end of the American Civil war. Starred Costner, Paxton, and Berringer. I thought it was pretty good.

    I may check that out.
Looking for something else to get into at the moment after eating OB so fast (and with GoT finishing). Defiance is filling a pap gap left by Person of Interest.
I am tempted to start on The Killing 3 but the prospect of endless moody shots in the pissing down rain has me holding back.

Any other suggestions?
Continuum? I liked the first season well enough, and have about 6 eps of the 2nd saved up.

Burn Notice new season starts tonight, and a new series premieres after it called Graceland. My brother has been telling me I should watch Longmire. Haven't checked it out yet.

What about old shows you missed? Deadwood, Boardwalk Empire, Justified, The Shield, Southland, Dexter, Homeland, BSG etc etc etc? Watched them all?

I just started watching Strike Back. Am on episode 3 of the 2nd series.

I'm watching Continuum, but have feeling that the story is being far too dragged out for no good reason. I'll still watch but starting to lose interest.

That Longmire looks worth a go, thanks for that, I hadn't heard of it.

I'll wait and see what Graceland throws up. Looks to be a 'formuls' show from what I've read.

There are some oldies I need to go back to. Deadwood is one in particular that I missed.

From the same channel that does Burn Notice, Royal Pains, White Collar, Covert Affairs, and Suits. So probably similar formula, light and nothing too deep. Suits the outlier of the group.
There really is sweet fuck all on TV in the summer. You can see a grid of shows and premiere dates here.
I like the USA model so I'm happy, it's good to just switch of the brain sometimes. Apparently Graceland is supposed to be more serialised from the start (unlike Burn Notice and White Collar which became serialised as it went on).

I still need to get through Breaking Bad (still can't get passed the first season to the great ones that are supposed to follow), Strikeback (am in the middle of series 2 and finding it a bit meh), and all of Deadwood (which I'm looking forward to, I've watched the first ep years back and enjoyed it) and have Top of the Lake and Hatfields and McCoys that I'm looking forward to. So I'm set for the "winter".

Just finished watching Sleeper Cell and quite enjoyed it.

Crucial: Just rewatch The Wire if you can't find anything else, at least you wont be disappointed.
Rusty: Cheers for that site, is bookmarked now.

Crucial, you might want to check out the new BBC show The Fall. Gillian Anderson plays a detective in pursuit of a serial killer.

If you want something really good but a bit different, then I highly recommend the Venture Bros.

Watched 2 eps of Orphan Black, and looking like a good series.

I think McShane in Deadwood is bloody awesome, as is the deadpan Bullock, although when you look at OLyphant in his other roles, he doesnt stray too far from that character.

Finale of GOT to come, and the start of Falling Skies <img src='http://www.daimenhutchison.com/rugby/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' /> (guilty pleasure)

French supernatural thriller, Les Revenants (Rebound), started on Channel 4 last night.

A smash hit in France last year - and sure to be a US remake soon - it's about a group of schoolchildren who start to reappear after dying in a coach accident.

I don't want to give too much away, but it's beautifully paced and acted with some intriguing plot developments, not least the differing reactions of the townspeople to the reappearance of their loved ones. I hope the rest of the series is as good as Ep1.
I've thought that both of the first two series should have ended on their penultimate episodes and haven't thought much of the final (S1 final episode especially just seemed to meander) - hopefully this will be a good one.

The pattern seems to be that the big things happen in the penultimate ep then the final sets up the next season.
Last night was all about repositioning the pieces on the board.
Yeah, TBF, I'm used to it now, but still not sure it works having a (relatively) meh episode after a cracking one.
I reckon it would have been awesome if the first series had ended on Ned getting his head chopped off.

This one seemed to set up some interesting stuff, and finally returned Arya to a worthwhile character again. Not sure if I was loving Danearys the Messiah bit, but what the hell, any scene with her has its merits.

One thing I think this show does well is to have most of the characters float in the grey, and can make annoying and unsympathetic characters likeable and vice versa (Jamie for example, and Sansa is less annoying now her family are getting killed left, right and centre.

What I didn't really get was Bolton (I think that's his name, the north guy who turned on the Robb for Frey) saying how Robb never took his advice like somehow things would have been better with it ... Robb was winning all the battles. Also, were we supposed to know that the nutter torturing Theon was his son? I think these were scenes where knowing the books would have helped.
Watched finale of GOT, a bit tame IMO, reckon they could have let last weeks episode be the finale.

Reckon to add a bit of drama they should have finished with the scene of
Jon riding away with arrows in his back, given Rob was killed last week, to see that with Jon this week...
spoiler is series related, not book

Funy clip, contains spoilers for ep 9 of GOT
Anyone know if Martin is writing Book 6 at present? Will be interesting to see if the show lasts that long with book 4 introducing yet more characters and focussing less on the main ones.

Also watched the final ep of Revolution, this series has been a bit up and down, started ok, had a quiet patch but reckon it picked up the last 6 or so.
