    For a bunch of humans being directed around a set with props, you clowns take this shit way too seriously.

    This thread is awesome.

    I'm genuinely on the fence in terms of supporting @Virgil and @Rancid-Schnitzel

    > It does irk me that people defending TLJ say that anyone attacking it has issues with powerful females, that's a load of shit, Solo which I really enjoy has two more strong females to add to the list. ( three if you count Landos co pilot )

    I'm with RS in his views on TLJ but his stubborn refusal to see Solo doesn't sit too well with me. Star Wars as a franchise would have to release ten poor movies in a row for me to even consider boycotting one.

    I don't think many people are saying that are they?

    I'm like you regarding going to see them - I went to all the prequels at the movies despite coming out of The Phantom Menace with a WTF look on my face. So far I've only really had 3 disappointments out of 10, and when I first saw Attack of the Clones I actually quite liked the big fight at the end so it was almost 8 out 10 (until my pre TFA re-watch smashed that memory to bits).

    It's not a decision taken lightly but it's the only way to effect change. The current mob are killing SW (at least the trilogies). I feel genuinely sorry for Ron Howard and the actors and it would be a shame if what could be a good little trilogy is canned. But blame ultimately has to be directed at people like Kathleen Kennedy and Rian Johnson. Their contempt for the fans is disgusting and they deserve nothing but contempt back. Apparently Rian Johnson has been hired to write a whole new triology. That can't happen.

    Do you actually read the comments in this thread or follow what the makers of these films say? It's the no. 1 argument used against anybody who hated the films.

    @Nepia there's been a few on here but most of it is on other social media platforms.

    If AOTC didn't have a cool fights with Jango, Dooku and the arena battle at the end it would be far and away worse than TLJ. But those scenes help it get up the list and make me forget Annikans dialogue.

    Don't you force horses to have sex with one another and then force their spawn to race?

    I still don't get the connection. One is pretend as in it may as well be a cartoon and one is real?

    Same shit happened with that Ghostbusters movie. Anybody that criticised it were called misogynists. No, it's just a shit film.

    The point is people have different interests. Some people enjoy watching/discussing films, others like watching horses have sex.

    Call me a prude but I'm not sure I'd want that sort of talk on here. People talking horse racing is bad enough.

    @Rancid-Schnitzel @MN5

    I don't really go on social media platforms so the main information/discussion I get about Star Wars unless I'm looking something specific up is on here ... and this thread is now nearly worthless as a place to discuss anything Star Wars related now because any discussion about anything turns into a TLJ shitfight (and now horses have entered the discussion).
