<p>Do you watch the middle ? The parents named their son Brick in the vain hope he might turn out be cool, maybe his parents thought along the same lines? <p>As for Curtis' output I like a bunch of it - Four Weddings and a Funeral is a good movie the others are less good but watchable (Bridget Jones excepted) and Vicar of Dibly is quite funny. Plus, anything he has done it better than The Time Travellers Wife IMHO (the fact I have seen it shows you I'll watch anything once - to my eternal regret on occasion) and Love Actually had some decent totty in it. And he did Blackadder ....</p> -

I thought it wason a par with the awfulness of the vicar of Dibly but it looks like I'm alone on that. I wonder if she's really funny as a stage comedian though and like a lot of them when they get their own show it's a pile of crap? -

<p>I like Miranda, it's a show I'd never watch without someone in the room watching it, but I laugh every time I see it ... I find her a hell of a lot funnier than any of the plebs on 7 Days. I'm obviously a lot more tolerant than Jegga.</p>

I'm a fan of U.K/Irish comedies but 2 shows I don't get the fuss over is Miranda and Mrs Browns Boys.<br />
Both are shit IMHO -

<p>I dont mind Miranda so much, although her series is very samesy which IMO is the same as Mrs Browns Boys, some eps are hilarious, others are sh!t, but both only in small doses...I like Gavin and Stacy though, in particularly Smiffy and 'ness!</p>

<p>Back on track; Haunted (had ot check it out) and it wasnt bad, a few tingly hair on neck moments, although IMO it seemed it wasn't Ms. Beckinsale's naked torso I was looking at, so mucho disappointo on that count!</p> -

Twister was on the other night, cgi and effects have come along way since it came out. It was pretty average even if you take that into account.
