<p>OT - I think they basically peaked with OK Computer and everything after that was experimental weirdness. I think Muse are probably superior from a sustainability point of view.</p> -
<p>personally i think they peaked with The Bends, which is a cracking rock album. I can see why critics and music piston wristed gibbons love OK Computer, but i just don't find it as "listenable". I would call it the most over-rated album of all time, given the plaudits it gets (Best Album to come out of the UK etc)</p>

Re: The Bends versus OK Computer. Not saying one is better than the other, but musically I thought the latter introduced some great new directions which they then shat all over with Kid A.
The Bends definitely more rock.

<p>Heh heh! I hate that. It's like that guy who put all the Metallica "Yeah" together in a row. It went for 5 minutes and now it really sticks out when I listen to them.</p>

<p>I saw the Hobbit last night. I thought it was fucking cool. Smaug is just about the coolest thing i have ever seen in a movie, looked awesome. Evangeline Lilly is fucking hot. The action sequences were fun, the backdrops their usual stunning selves. i thought it was great.</p>

<p>I haven't read the Hobbit in at least 12 years, so the details escape, hence i don't give a fuck about some of the "inaccuracies" or inconsistencies some fuckwits fixate on. "waaaah, that guys not as big as he is in the booooook, waaaaah worst movie ever" fuck off nerd. </p>

<p>The trailer for "Jupiter Ascending" looks cool</p>
<p>The new Tom Cruise sci-fi movie "Edge of Tomorrow" looks pretty good</p>
<p>"47 Ronin" looks fucking rad as hell</p>

<p>The trailer for "Godzilla" look awesome, but you know that movie is going to suck. </p> -
<p>Yeah M4L, Smaug was badass - really enjoyed the movie, The river sequence was mean, especially Bombur!!</p>

<p>Saw Anchorman 2. It was good, much better than I'd hoped. The first half is amazing-balls imo, the whole cinema was pissing itself laughing. Second half was good but it's tough when movies set the bar high and don't quite maintain it.</p>

<p>I am still holding out hope for Godzilla!!</p>
