Person dependent, but generally, yes. No point in coming if you aren’t planning to get naked with the locals. In Hokkaido we used to drink Chuu-Hais in the bath. I’m sure that’s not cool either, but Niseko is basically Australia anyway.

People are asking the wrong question here.
I've no problems with Air NZ stance. It's their company, they are allowed to choose who they employ. As long as they are not being prejudice because of race, sex, sexual orientation, age then I think they have every right to choose.
Tattoo's are just about the norm these days and that's cool. But companies should be allowed to have a no visible tattoo rule for their client facing staff. It's their choice.

This is mental!
Funnily, on Tuesday I got a call from TR Jnr (which I thought was to tell me where he had come in his school Cross Country) but it was to tell me he didnt do it as he is part of the school production that evening, they were told they didnt need to do the Cross Country if they didnt want to and save thier energy.
He said at least 2/3 of the crew didnt do it.
That night I spoke to him about it and said you know how last year you werent happy with where you came, and how you have been much fitter this year and had been looking forward to seeing how much you could improve your placing by...
For my mind, the schools maybe need to change thier approach to it, make it more of a fun run, let those that want, dress up and do it. The ones who take it seriously, will still do so, those who find it a chore may just do it and enjoy it and then the ones who will convince thier parents to keep them home or write a note will do so still.

I have no idea who you were referring to, when I was at school all us fatties tried to get out of cross country. One year the teacher caught us playing rugby (probably league as easier to play at school) when cross country was on and made us run anyway.
