@hooroo I thrashed the living shit out of the Judgement Night album.
I'm struggling to make a top 20, I don't think I'm an album guy and I'm trying to pick ones from my past that I would have listened to heaps, I have no problem coming up with top 20s for TV and movies though.
-
Nevermind is def in my top 20. Going to have to give this some serious thought... wonder what that feels like!
-

@mn5 My Criteria is that if I were at a all day bbq with beers, I needed to be happy to hear the entire album in full. That would be a great day!
I probably feel the same about Mike Patton. Neither are at the very top echelon but are legends none the less.

@hooroo ah Moby - Play. I've listened to it a bit recently. I swear when it came out everyone i know owned a copy of it.
The Trip is easily the best compilation ever, and is so cheating.
Judgement Night was pretty cool
The Trip was a converter album in its own right. So many people I know had their music tastes influenced by that album. (Me included too I guess) Therefore it gets its own place as a stand alone album.

I saw Moby at James Caberet when that album came out. Only a few hundred people tops and right before the songs were all over every fucken ad on TV. Great show.
As you say, every single person on earth owned a copy of it by 1999

So much bogan in this thread.

not sure I could compile a top 20 albums, I buy an album due to a single then thrash the single...
RATM, Killing in the Name would be an all time fave album where I like every song on it, TR Junior loves it too.
Appetite for Destruction another where pretty much every song was awesome
Prodigy, Fat of the Land was goodYeah I'm not gonna get 20, I could get a few more but no where near 20.
Some of the other albums I had show my bogan ness more though.
Was not a big Mobi fan TBH.

I"m certain I couldn't do a Top 20 which wouldn't change on a daily basis. I still shift between Metallica and Pink Floyd albums. It would have to include Soundgarden superunknown, FNM Angel Dust, GNR Appetite for Destruction, Alice in Chains Dirt, Smashing Pumpkin Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness, The Who Who’s Next, Rammstein Made in Germany and now I'm doing compilations which feels like cheating
-
@antipodean Who's Next would be in my top 20 and probably a PF album, maybe WYWH.
I'd have AC/DC's Back In Black too. How's that for bogan?

Does it matter what AC/DC album you pick? All their songs are the same. :face_with_stuck-out_tongue_closed_eyes:
Obviously this post is coming from beyond the grave.

Lame is listening to long hair music when you either ditched the long hair long ago or it has fallen out.
